Good video. I’ve been using the over ring for about 5 years but will be changing to the under ring on my next car. My wife cannot use the over ring due to its, necessarily, smaller diameter than the steering wheel.

i used one of these in the first car i ever drove [only a few days ago] gotta say i loved it, altho it was super sensitive, even with the 50% accel- [or it might be coz im a novice and new new to driving] but i think it would be a cool add-on if i could add a rotating grip to the wheel, that will somehow limit the amount it can be pressed for each 10mph for a more relaxed cruse option, [any inventors feel free to take the idea as your own gl]

I have got it fitted to my car and it’s super sensitive. Should have been more travel to the ring to give granular control over slow speed

The system should always have a 50% throttle switch fitted with it, to effectively increase the travel for slow speed manoeuvres as you suggest. This can then be turned off at higher speeds as discussed in the video. I don't know that we installed your system, but if we did please get in touch to discuss this if you are having issues. I'm currently using the push/pull hand controls for my BMW but I'm interested in having these fitted on my other car. Might sound like an odd question but can you use the accelerator and push the brake at the same time? This is the only way I'll be able to do a burnout in my car. As you know for an able-bodied person a burnout would be done by pushing the foot brake and accelerator together.

Usually as a safety feature the accelerator will cut out if you brake with hand controls. 🙂

@@lj2684 i know your comment is a year old, but i can confirm this - with the underside accel wheel, pressing the break disconnects the wheel if used together,
