Under $22 - The BEST Outdoor Pant you'll ever own!
These $22.00 Outdoor Cargo Zip Pants from Wrangler are the best I have ever owned! I've used almost every brand available, and these have everything I'm looking for in a summer outdoor, backpacking, hiking, wet wading pant. They are comfortable, light weight, but still offer some leg protection from rocks, things you find off trail. They dry quickly and are super durable...I used them for 2-months of fly fishing, camping, hiking and backpacking during my summer road trip thru 4 states.

Totally agree! Those Wranglers are my go-to backpacking pants. Wicking, water resistant, quick drying , wind blocking, great deep pockets in the right places, roll up cuffs (with snaps!), flexible, comfortable…The best feature, though, is the waist band liner. It grips so well that even with a heavy pack load, the pants won’t slip. If you hike regularly, you know how much that matters. Best twenty bucks on clothing you’ll ever spend. Good job.
Picked these up at Walmart yesterday based on your review...I figured for $22 not much to risk trying them. They feel awesome! Haven't had a chance to test their durability yet, but if they last, this will be one of the best value for money clothing buys I've seen. Thanks! 👍
Drew! I got my Wrangler’s! Much better made then any of the other high end pants I’ve bought. They work great for wet wading. Would not have known without you. Many Thanks!
Wow! You are not kidding. I just got my pants today and they are way better than the ones I’ve paid four times as much for. Not only are the the most comfortable pants have worn but I was able to find 36 x 34 which I’ve been notoriously hard to find previously. Thank you!
Great stuff! I just bought a pair of these wrangler randomly at Target for $20! I loved them so much I went back and got 4 more pairs! They are more comfortable and dry just as fast as any $100 top end brand pant. Wear them daily for everything!

If you read all of these reviews, you probably realize these are really great pants. I spent 10 days in Colorado wet wading every day and I wore the same pair of pants. They hardly seemed to get dirty and dry really quickly. Thanks for the recommendation, Drew.
I have been using these for hunting the last couple years. Nice to see others discovering them.

Agreed. I use mine wet wading quite a bit as well !! Great pants for the price, I hope they stick around a while in Wranglers line
I have the same Wranglers from Walmart as well only without the zip off legs. They are very comfortable and are a great overall outdoor pant. I also found a similar Wrangler pant at Walmart that were polyester fleeced lined that make a great cool and cold weather pant. I those for early season kayak fishing or boating and I often wear them under my waders when wade fishing in the winter. If I remember correctly, they were about $25 a pair
Best pants, hands down, for hiking and fishing. I’ve been wearing them for 2 years now and I love them. I’m a bigger guy so the stretch is fantastic.

I own two pair and they have been great hiking and all around outdoor pants. I was wade fishing in them this morning in the Gulf of Mexico.
Yes!!! I bought these months ago for work and they are great!! I like the cotton ones much better though... but the synthetic are good too (if you like that "Zip! Zip!" Sound when you walk).
So I'm a land surveyor and I will say these are great for the summer. The only draw back is the nylon is susceptible to rips from thorns walking through brush. They definitely do dry quick and are lightweight. They also make a winter version that's fleece lined and great for the winter months too.

I've been wearing Wrangler pants for about 2 decades now. I agree with you on these pants, but they are my 2nd favorite from Wrangler. My favorite are the Rip-Stop version of their cargo pants. That probably has more to do with my size than anything because I'm a big dude. The cargo style gives me a little more room. We hunt and fish in these things with no issues. They use to be $17, but still well worth the money at the current price of $22-24. I wear these most of the summer wet wading as well and only use waders in bigger tail waters.
@LooknFishy

Great timing on this video Drew. I’ve been rewinding your videos back and forth trying to determine what type of waders you were wearing for those 3 mile hikes to out of the way streams and just could never tell. Do you wet wade most of the streams you hike to in the Colorado and Wyoming summers? Can I ask what wet wading shoes you’re using and what socks? Do you hike back to the truck in wet socks and boots? Sorry for all the questions. Maybe these will be answered in the sequel.

Based on your review, my husband and I both bought a pair this past week. They are very comfortable. Looking forward to trying them hiking. Price is going/ has gone up to $22.98. However, our Walmart had not removed the old price tag of $21.92 so we got them for the lower price. We also bought the same style shorts.

LOL, I just bought two pair for my husband a couple of days ago. He's getting ready to leave for a Florida trip. I own 4 pair of Eddie Bauer pants that retail around $90-100 per pair (bought on sale). Totally love them and was going to try and find a couple for him. These are almost duplicates of the Bauer pants! No way, but I checked everything. Except for the heavier waistband and OMG giant button closure - the material is exactly the same. They're also double stitched and overlapped so they won't unravel. They are a bargain. Got his at Wal-Mart. Even the colors matches mine.

Drew, just started following you in the last week and really like your content. Was doing some internet shopping and found a pair of Weatherproof Vintage Men's Tech Pant for 16.99 at Costco I'm going to try. If they don't work out I'll try these wranglers. We do a lot of wet wading in the warm weather so it's shorts typically. Been wanting to grab a pair of slacks for those walks thru the woods. Do have a question for you though. Do you find a lot of creeks or streams that aren't known for having trout? Watching thru your Missouri videos, sometimes I recognize the water and other times I'm trying to figure if it is Missouri water. I'm just wondering what percentage of water you've found in your research (watched the video) that are those little secret gems of the fisherman who looked further. Think we're headed down to Norfolk Dam in February. And congrats on the Missouri Slam. One of those things we talk about doing and never quite get around to it.
