While I agree it’s “easiest Undertale fangame” I like the thought of Undyne and Sans fusing into one mega boss being really difficult, also because it uses Undyne which you don’t see a lot of fan games using, they usually just focus on Sans and sometimes papyrus or AUs

Monsters have the tiniest bit of Determination in their SOULs. Just not very much of it. It’s downright minuscule when compared to how much a Human SOUL could have, so most Monsters can’t really get much out of it besides the basic will to live. However, Undyne… is weird. She seems to be able to produce more Determination for herself, and in the Genocide Route, she can even actually handle it due to her resolve being more firm. She didn’t have more than Frisk at least (and likely not enough to even possess SAVE File at all), but she was able to generate enough to recover from a blow that, by all rights, _should’ve_ killed her. Whether this is merely a natural ability of hers or the result of something else remains to be seen.
