I don’t think it’s all about “ real “ muscles. They have a different “ forma mentis “ as a result of their backgrounds. They first of all are stronger mentally. In a way you see the same with first generation immigrants... Off course the concept I’m traying to express is deeper and longer but I’m sure you understood.

for real tho. whats the combined record of his opponents? even khabib was fighting cans until he was 11-0. Those dudes pad their records hard before they try and go to the UFC so the number isnt as impressive at all.

I just checked sherdog and his opponents combined records are 127W 99L. 6-7 of his wins are against opponents with NO wins and one is 0-7. Multiple of his opponents have 1 win and several losses. The only dude who had a semi decent record was 19-8 and he was over 34 so on the downslide of his career. This dude just pads his numbers with cans. Like most of these dudes.

I think there's more to it than simple reluctance... They sign guys like this all the time. I bet a lot of it has to do with Visa issues and USADA issues. Not to mention its possible they just never heard of him... Dana has always said from the beginning, its about finding the baddest dude on the planet, I know theatrics play a part but I really think if Dana saw someone he thought was talented, he wouldn't be reluctant to sign him just because of his nationality....
