I played ristar and it’s quite a fun game.

0:00 - Sonic (Act 1) 2:54 - Ristar 5:27 - Alex Kidd 7:28 - Sonic (Act 2) 8:42 - Ristar (Act 2) 9:06 - Alex Kidd (Act 2)

Random Gimmick replacement idea Sonic: Instead of “Don’t Miss,” the entire section is on a ring-based system, similar to Triple Trouble. Rings don’t spawn in the last section. Ristar: I don’t know enough to make a fitting gimmick, but it’d lower max hp in some way Alex Kidd: I have to bring in the Rock Paper Scissors game, sorry. Every 5-10 seconds, Alex will have a thought bubble above his head displaying either a “Rock” “Paper” or “Scissors” symbols. Push space to switch a similar bubble over your head to match it. Fail to get it three times, and you’re locked to 1 hit until you get to SEGA. SEGA DOES WHAT NINTENDON’T There are hurt notes in the form of spikes, (ristar obstacle), and the RPS game returns, but now only does 50% of your Hp.

I like the idea of a rock, paper, scissors mechanic but here's how I would do it. For rock it'd be similar to race traitors where your health is pushed back. For paper a peice of paper covers a part of your note vision, similar to I hate you's lava but it doesn't go up and is partly visible. For scissors your side of the health is split for a while and you have to try and not miss since you have less room for failure.

Lore: After dying at the hands of Xeno, our two stars awoke to find themselves in a completely normal Green Hill Zone, where they found that gaming icon, Sonic the Hedgehog himself. Not an EXE, not a parody, but the real original deal. Happy to meet the Blue Blur at long last, they agreed to a friendly rap battle, one that would prove to be the most intense they've had on their journey- espically when two other Sega favorites would join in.

This is actually pretty good, and Ristar's finally getting the attention he deserves. Perhaps my only complaint is Ristar's untuned voice, as it does not sound like Ristar's usual voicelines in the actual game (his game does have voicelines, except they're bitcrushed) (FYI, Ristar is canonically either 6 or 8 years old)

@@chrisramirez9197 I mean if you want to make bitcrush anything in FL studio just do this: 1.Set your desired instrument/audio clip to any mixer track you want 2.Add in “Fruity Waveshaper” into the mixer track your desired instrument/ audio clip is set to. 3. Set the “Fruity Waveshaper” to the “Bitmunched” preset. You can adjust the bit crunch by changing the mix level of the “Fruity Waveshaper”. Hope this helps!

Good cover. I'm not really sure what else I have to say. Amazing job. I guess a few ideas I have are that the first section with Sonic uses the models from that one Dreamcast commercials, with the special sections having 8-bit or even 3D models. Just a thought, though.

I think the classic sonic photo is a great choice, more since we're talking about the games that follow up to it, ristar sadly never made it out of the genesis and idk what to say about alex kid lolll

Some fanmade lore for each character Sonic/cinoS: a failed experiment found and recycled to replace the original sonic because they thought that even sonic couldn't beat the clone's speed. The creature had an audio device implanted into it's vocal cords. Everything was going well untill the creature started forming into a crude mockery of the sonic it was meant to be. The creature partially broke the audio device from a screech. Although, it still partially worked. Ristar/bane of stars: He was once a cult leader who believed stars were gods. His cult was overthrown because his cult members realized he was insane. He was kicked out, but he never stopped worshiping the stars. He eventually got possessed mid-song by what he thought was one of the star gods. Little did he know, it was something much, much worse... Alex kidd/kidnapped kidd: he was once just a normal kid, untill, he wad kidnapped and brutally murdered. Fingers cut off, a shot to the leg, and a knife through his head to finish the job. Although, he *refused* to die. His dead body wanted to guilt trip his murderer into hanging himself so he can suffer in hell. He caused the murderer to hallucinate the child he just murdered, and he succeeded in his goal. And all of them found each other one fateful day, and were now a team.

The list of the Mario's Madness sonic covers were PHENOMENAL! Most Sonic-related characters fit VERY well in each slots of the MMV2 casts and they were perfect in their own way. I really hope someone turns Sonic's Mania into a mod and even using Guatonsito's MMV2 Sonic covers. That'd be way past cool.
