This was in the game at least since October when I started playing. Sometimes I like to tell people I know a secret place where you can mine lots of rubies. I take them to this cave and of course they get a little disappointed to discover it’s only decoration, but we still share some laughs about it and they appreciate that I showed them the secret.

Oh yeah it’s been here since the start, But somehow I have completely missed it, so I wanted to make sure people knew too, if other people hadn’t discovered this either. Hopefully its going to have some function in the future, like something connected to lore ☺️

I think the najuma ghost theory sounds very plausible for sure! Illegal mining or someone/something hiding out. Will be interesting to see how they eventually tie this place into the story.

WOW this is such a cool secret!! This coupled with the lighthouse makes Bahari such a sad and mysterious place ❤

Oh yeah, i do wish we get more lore to the mines in the future, it certainly seems like there is more to it.

I'm pretty new to the game and watching this has made me realise I really need to look around. The way this is hidden is incredible. I love it

Thanks for showing this off Wolfile! Like others have mentioned, pretty sure this has been in game for quite a while as I remember finding it shortly after open beta. Always fun to think and speculate about what all these unused areas could turn into in the future! Cheers!

I had gone in the beach comber cave and gotten the chest some time ago but hadn't realized there were more areas. But now that I am looking at it, there are two spots with markings (runes maybe?) in the passage and then a door at the end that was not in this video. Seems very likely a quest is coming.

Started playing Palia about two weeks ago, and I am HOOKED! I hope they expand on the main lore-type quests bc looting around gets a bit boring for me at least. Need that depth to the game. NPC character development and lore expansion. Another youtuber, that I cant remember the name of sadly, also mentioned that the clothing store is WAY too expensive and I agree. It is a beautiful game, and i love the peacefulness and community! Keep up the good work with the videos!

you might be referring to Perzival and i agree the outfits are so expensive. it’s more money than i use for clothes IRL

i think i need to explore that cave more because i dont remember seeing the gem rooms

I can confirm that this place was there 2 months ago, I don't know if it's there from the real beginning of the game because I did not explored bahari so deep when I start playing. But it was here in October, probably earlier, I don't remember the exact day I found it.

@@WolfieSilveira I found it by accident 😂 when I'm Lost I always find strange places where I'll never know how to return in. 😂 So thank you for make a video on it. 😂

This apparently does not work in the Switch version. Getting past the opening, my character gets pushed slightly off the wall and I end up climbing in midair or just get stuck inside the opposite wall. Can anyone on Switch confirm? EDIT: After a few more tries, I managed to get over the snag but jumping OFF (opposite) the wall, opening my glider, then quickly turning around midair to grab the wall again. It's a bit jank (Palia? Janky? Shock.), but it's doable. EDIT 2: There's somehow even less of a point in getting up there on the Switch version because the lower textures and in-game models means they completely removed all the gems. It's just a bland, empty cave. 😂

Weird, I also play on switch and I could climb up there no problem and there is gems. Just no candles lol
