I really love your demo track, Homay! And for library combinations I’d like to see, let’s go with Mercury, Originals Epic Choir and LABS Dulcimer.
Homay, du bist einfach wunderbar!
Using uncommon sample libraries pairing is an excellent way to be original. The only limit is our imagination, unless you're actually hired to score and have to work within boundaries. Love Homay's work, she's the queen. Cheers!
Walking through the isolated (yet still musical) patches is what sells Homay's demos. Particulalrly isolating the clicks around 6:20 which kept me from troubleshooting my audio or thinking my headphones were toast🤣 Thanks for a great demo and excellent scoring chops.
These videos always give me great inspiration to dive into some of my Spitfire libraries! Keep them coming and thanks Homay!
Homay's work always makes me feel fresh
Homay is a hustler. She can sell salt to a slug. :)
The homie is back!
I have to say your 'concoction' is actually a masterpiece!
awesome walkthrough, Homay 👍
Very nice composition and creative pairing.
Love the sound of those violin ricochet's
You are the master🎶✨️💫
I want to watch the movie that this kicks off. Nicely done!
Great chemistry 🙏🙏🏿👍🎶
New workspace, Homay? How about a select with Kepler, Landfill Totems & Mercury?
This is awesome! Great piece. Idk but in my head I'm thinking a combination could the famous Albion ONE, Afterglow and the Originals Media Toolkit
there are thousands and tons of libraries of orchester sounds and i only listen short to the videos of the never ending and ( for me ) very similiar and very often nothing "realy new and sensationell " libraries! I prefer my "main" and what i always use libraries and stick to them. My Top 4 Orchester libaries and more than enough is 1.Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evolution 2. Heavyocity 3. Harmonic Subtones emotional line 4. Albion NEO ;)

interesting to see that you use articulations on different tracks, instead changing the articulations inside of one track. Seen a lot of advice lately to deal with articulations changes inside of one track, since articulation is mapped to certain keynotes. I wonder if this is just an old habit that has worked for you, or if there is actual benefits of having each articulation as their own track?

Well, for one, you don't have to bother with the keyswitches at all. It also allows more granular control over any effects you want to use. With each articulation having its own track, you can do things like have different send levels for your reverb for each articulation. You may want more reverb on your spiccatos than on the long sustains (or vice versa), for example. And besides one track per articulation or one instrument per track, there is also something in between - grouping articulations. Like having one track for legatos, one track for all the other long articulations, one for the short articulations, and one for any FX or aleatoric stuff. In the end, it is simply a matter of preference. Neither approach is better than the other. One of them is just better _for you._
Very nice sounds but for My production I like the more basic string samplers because it works better for Hiphop and RnB that is the bulk of My music.
HOMAY SCHMITZ Your Computer Keyboard looks like it has Larger Keys, I have large hands, could you tell me what brand it is, I've been trying to find something that will work for me and last, as most the Letters Wear Off and things start to not work. - Chazz of Jazz
Homay...she's so damn dope... Homay.
