I've been doing this for 40 years. My Grandmom taught me this. I use an old Dawn squeeze bottle with a more diluted vinegar & dawn for the toilet. The squeeze bottle fits right under the the RIM perfectly and works great in hard water stains. BIG HUGS ,Anita

Properly working showers are a real blessing for aches and pains so thanks for posting, Bev. I use white vinegar in the "conditioner" compartment of my washing machine; I haven't used brands for years after I read what they contain. My clothes always have a lovely fresh smell.

Vinegar works for me, too ! I have a another use for vinegar - but for your body. I have a horrible time with thick callouses on the bottom of my feet that can be painful to walk on. I saw this on YT one day. This guy said he heats white vinegar a little & pours it into a foot bath. Then relax & soak your feet. I usually soak mine for about an hour, if I can set still that long. Honestly-the 1st time I did it - I literally scraped the softened callous off with my finger nails ! What a relief after all these years of trying to get it off with pumice stones & that ped egg !

@@Tripinfallz , no just plain white vinegar. The callouses get so bad on the balls of my feet & the outside behind the little toes . I can hardly walk ! Just like callouses on your hands eventually they form again. Just stay on top of it. Get the vinegar as warm as is comfortable for him. I try to let them soak in the vinegar for a good hour. I was so happy when it worked the very 1st time ~ I could have cried !

Thanks Mrs V. Great tip, I have the shower setup like yours, will use your tip to clean it. I noticed the tiny ants are back; found them (2, then 2 more later) in the bathroom sink area; used straight vinegar to clean all counters, sinks, bottles. Every year in the Spring the tiny ants come back I use vinegar for cleaning and they don't like the smell. In the kitchen, I make sure all foods like honey, sugar, etc. are sealed in zip lock bags. Do you ever have problem with the tiny ants coming in your house and how did you get rid of them? Thank!s!

1/2 & 1/2...I give put a 1/4 cup of it in the bottom of my dishwasher ( never straight dish soap) and it cleans my dishwasher with every load! I use it in my bathroom but squirting it all over the top of the shower stall walls so it runs down..and all over my tub, under the rim of my toilet AND my sink..walk away for 1/2 an hour and com back and rinse down..the toilet needs to be scrubbed with the brush..but you would normally do that anyway! Hope this helps!

Now you tube must know they have an idiot in their office. Lol!! Carry on Bev...we love you.
