I used to skate to this in the early 90’s this brings back memories… a halfpipe & Uncle Slam & I was shredding!!🤘🏻🛹🤘🏻
yeah these guys are from V£NIC£ beach, as members are from Suicidal Tendencies and Brood. these guys were awesome, i used to watch these guys play parties. they would rent a generator and play up in the hills . let me tell you, those were some of the craziest parties i've ever witnessed !!!!! the dust cloud from the pit were insane !! good times.

Drums kick ass too.
Makes me want to slam, when others listen to nirvana, I was listening to this.
CROSSOVER TO THE VEINS
These dudes were super technical and wrote some sick riffs! Their tempo changes are insane and they were able to switch seamlessly from groove to straight up power thrash with the best of 'em!! It's still a mystery why they never became a household name, I'd put them up against any band!!

Yeah there were quite a few 80s / 90s killer thrash bands that sadly went under the radar. My good friend is a top tier thrash shred pioneer here in Australia. One of his band members went to California in '89 and he met members of Forbidden (these guys were his heroes) and was shocked to learn they were all working shitty day jobs to try fund their awesome music.
It's a shame these guys didn't make it they were one of the best

Who said they didn't make it? They reached you, a small army of KZread followers and most surprisingly my musically secluded ass lol. This is making it in the underground and probably exactly where they wanted to be. Sure they have what it takes to push further mainstream for money and fame but that's not for everyone. Some just do it for the love of music, beer and pussy. Most of all they stayed true to the underground!!🤘🏻👹🤘🏻
HOLY shit, this is fuckin solid.
Wore this cd down when it came out. SO good! "When God Dies" (the follow up) is very different, but really solid as well.
love uncle slam
I was 14 when i found say uncle up here in northern MN only one tape in the rack, awesome skate thrash, D.R.I. Oh the fun😊
Ух ты! Даже дух захватывает! В своё время не удалось заслушать, но сейчас ознакомился и не пожалел! Крепкий трэш/кроссовер альб. Местами, воскресило в памяти Suicidal..., совсем немного. Sacred Reich, чуток D. R. I., и M. O. D. Злой и жёсткий альб.!
oh man. love this stuff. I was 16 when this came out. I pick up the "tape" just on cover art alone hoping for the best. played alot if super nintendo to this album. now I play this weekly in my car.
*Fantastic riffing & song writing, everything about this album is so good.* *Its funny, i bet that if this was released in 2017 instead of 1993 it would be hailed as a masterpiece in such mediocre times,* *instead it went unnoticed in the golden age of 90's Grunge Rock.*

L٥ﻻﻉ√٥υ Well the 90s were also the era of Sepultura, Pantera and more (Fear factory, Korn, etc) so i think all old school thrash bands were having a little hard time picking up the pace. Even Anthrax and others got to try the new sounds that were sprouting back then.
Love the album art

Uncle slam has been such a big inspiration for me. Super music. I dedicatied a whole Album to todd moyer, the guitarist. Genius guitar work.

Yea you gotta remember what music was like in 1993, while this is good shit, the thrash scene (as well as the crossover scene) played itself out after about 10 years of relevance. It was time for something new and thus people at this time were looking to grunge and stuff like that more. It was time for a musical shift, as a child of the 80s thrash heydey I don't begrudge the demise of thrash at that time and was glad it had a great resurgence in the early 2000s and even today you can hear its influence all over the place in modern rock and metel. So while the tide would ebb and flow and leave bands like this out in the cold, the music reigned on and still does.
Great stuff !! Especially Roadkill. The song that introduced me into this band. They sound like ST in their "How will I laugh..." days. Good 90's metal.
Dudes and dudettes, I caught this band live at the Whiskey back when this kick ass album came out. Got a copie for sure. Spit distance because we were like flies to shit. Loving the Smell, sound and fucken energy. I somehow felt like shit and needed something to bring me up. I said, lets go back and Say Uncle or Die!!!!! Left for Dead. Brought me back up. You guys ring like yesterday. Catching the 3 back home. Sunset bound.

Mo, Thy PoppinTay yeah this is sick shit. Funny thing, I was 9 or 10 when this album came out, and I had an older cousin that loved thrash and got me into extreme metal eventually... anyways, enough reminiscing like the old fuck I am haha but he played this for me and i loved the music but hated the vocals bc it wasn't exactly like mettalica hahaha funny to think that bothered me when now I listen to nothing with clean vocals at all

great band
Powertrip has a sound similar to this (though PT sound has a heavier guitar tone), maybe because of the way Riley (RIP) sang
Let the games begin and go insane with this music and throw out grandma's cookies out the window and drink all the cold beer
Mike Muir Suicidal produced Say Uncle in 88
This is Real Thrash Metal. Sounds great. This is the way it used to be back in 80's and early 90s.
I wish this was available on any format but if it were available on vinyl i would buy lots of copies
Kick ass!
I like to think all the thrash albums from the 80s and 90s that look like this are from the same universe, this could easily be an extension of the Peace Sells album cover
