Great vocals man, I missed you guys the first time around even though Metal Maniacs told me I should check it out. Vocals are a great mix of melodic, tough and emotive all at the same time. So you're still making someone's day 25 years on!

My dad is friends with all the members of Cyclone Temple. He has super rare demo tapes. There are only 1 or 2 of those demo tapes. My dad even played drums on a few of the demos.

@@hellsunicorn Greg has no intentions of reforming Cyclone Temple. He has a band going right now, and he's busy on that. The CDs are back in print though, and you can easily pick up a copy.

@@nickstrong8247 I have the original pressings of the two LPs and also the 2012 Divebomb version of My Friend Lonely containing the Building Errors In The Machine EP. Was kinda jonesing to see if any new material might be in the works due to the old school thrash revival that began in the mid-2000s. Oh well, it probably wasn't in the cards anyway given that Brian Troch has his plate pretty full between Shooting Hemlock and My Infected Soul. Maybe at some point one of these newer bands will try to revisit the same early 90s sound that made this album so great.

Hi , Brian Troch here lead vocalist of Cyclone Temple. I spoke with Greg a few times about this and he has no interest and I did at one time but now we both have moved onto another plateau music wise. 👍 to find a couple big planned out shows would be fun as hell but especially now with everything going on it would definitely be a no go anyway as everything is shut down live music wise. I’m really blown away by the support we still receive and all the love ❤️ shown on here ! A million thanks to all fans old and new 🙌

My guitar player and best friend got this for me when we were 17. Sadly the band took a different direction when i left. He passed at 32 and i will always remember this album as our last interaction. He was my best friend

I hear Testament / Forced Entry / Sacred Reich influence ... Gave them a Thumb's up. I'm a 90's Thrasher STILL alive. 8)

Just "discovered" this album a couple of weeks ago and bought it after one listen. What a fucking gem.

It's an absolute shame that this band did not get the recognition it deserved Especially the lead singer Brian. Those guys were brilliant musicians but Brian's vocals really made the band.

I heard this album for the first time at a barbecue in the summer of 2020 and was blown away. I immediately went on Amazon the next day and bought it because I had to have it.

the FORCE of rhythm-guitar is strong in this one !

Right after seeing the video for "Words are Just Words" on Headbanger's Ball back in the day, I drove to Tower Records in Anaheim and bought this. . . Cranked it. The bass on this CD was so tight, it blew out my crappy old speakers. Replaced them with KLHs. Thank you Cyclone Temple for making me upgrade my sound system. . .

This is one of my favourite thrash metal albums of all time. This band had something to say. They were obviously pissed off at all the discrimination, corruption, and inequality in the world, and it all comes through wonderfully through the music presented in this recording. It really feels like it means something. It's unfortunate that the band caught the very tail end of the thrash movement and got left behind before they could really get off the ground.

Rebels Without Applause. He has some fairly recent videos on KZread, Sweet Diezel Jenkins.

I've just discovered this band via KZread...best thing you can do on here...find old gems of metal...these guys are amazing, tight thrash, riffs a plenty, drums are filthy, killer stuff...all their albums are excellent...I'll be buying them to add to my collection. These guys with Forced Entry, Target, Paradox, Demolition Hammer just to name a few. 🤘🤘

I got this album just after being stationed in Germany in 1991. I had just left growing up in SoCal in the 80s and having access to all the thrash metal and bands on the Strip in Hollywood. I thought I was going to be out of touch living there but when I got ahold of this my worries were over. This album is still one of my favorites!

Spending some time lately discovering old band that I never heard before and I'm really sad I never found this one until now. Awesome riffage and the vocals are brilliant.

It reminds me Heathen Victims of Deception style, brutal sound, a softer and more heavy metal voice, and in the same year!

almost reminds me of ARMORED SAINT in a way.

My sister worked with Greg, he gave her a cassette of this album. She was more into dance music and didn't like it so she gave it to me. I've been a fan ever since. 😊 I like the "my friend lonely" album too.

I've never heard of Cyclone Temple until now... now it seems that I'm hooked?

This album and Fear of God's Beneath the Veil got me through a lot in the early 90's! Great to hear this again! THANKS !!! \m/

Sounds like a Mesa Boogie MK3 or something similar.

The singer was in a band called Hammeron.. Chicago Metal!

I remember over 20 years ago seeing this album in a record club advertisement. Today I'm finally listening to it.

Man i love this album. And this band brings back a ton of memories. I was just listing to Hexenhaus totally forgot about them. Outsider music at its finest. So glad the underground is still alive and people still have these songs to post. Thank you! I must find this on vinyl

If you like this album, then you'll like another one called _Act of God_ by Znöwhite. That band had some of the members who perform on this album and had a woman on vocals.

You need to have some more knowledge about Heavy / Thrash Metal, before you post your very stupid comments, Black album is a master piece of Thrash..just before Metallica went grunge and fucked their career...yes their later albums sucked big time, but early Metallica did kick arse, although not in the vein of Testament and Exodus, but yes they were good..

Known Greg since prior to the release of this album, he actually played me some unmixed tracks and I fell off my chair, one of the most epic metal players ever, tragic that just when he released this masterpiece Combat went bankrupt 🙁

Back in 93 I bought this album and rocked it until the c.d. cracked gave it to a guitar player dude I knew and jammed with here n there and years later he was like bruh , that cyclone temple c.d. still worked ! Actually only 2 songs did but he fell in love with these guys ! Glad I found this band backing the day but back then Korn and limp biscuit had taken over my tape deck and amped up 2 15s in the trunk.

Dive Bomb Records has it , you can also get the list demos in land of the greed home if the depraved. Very raw and cool as hell ! The box set of both is like 10 bucks I think 👍 This is Brian T. List demos are awesome it’s the one that got us signed. Check it out

I never checked this band out back in the day because I was already burned out on thrash metal by the late 80's, but damn - this is really good shit! The singer has a cool distinctive voice (unlike most thrash metal singers, who were just generic inferior versions of either James Hetfield or Tom Araya) and a good range.

Check out Wargasm - Why Play Around too, it's very epic like this one, but less heavy maybe and less Power Metallish.
