There's only 2 types of places Gordon cooks at, His own home Kitchen, or in the middle of nowhere, just makes it looks like he just teleports randomly with everything he needs to cook, and returns home if he cooks something right.

9:08 modern nonstick pans do not chip away from metal utensils being used. I got a pan that got damaged when moving and you can see gouges in the metal but the nonstick coating is still on their somehow.

Seeing uncle Roger commentate Texan food (as well as uncle Gordon cooking in Texas) makes me very happy as a Texan

Non-stick coating doesn't evaporate when it touches metal it's just very easy to scrape off. But gently touching it with the round side of a spoon doesn't do anything to it.

I like how you use comedy in your assessments and it’s off the top of your head too.

@@BooTheEater because he needs presentable pan in the video. So he often needs new ones, he can't keep them all. And he doesn't even live there, he probably isn't traveling with a non-stick pan

The pans he uses are non stick pans that don't use teflon as the coating.

He can't make simple dish like grilled cheese. Anyone's uncle, anywhere, knows how to make proper grilled cheese.

Get an auntie on set for this show. Someone needs to teach these celebrity chefs that no one's above the law when it comes to metal utensils on nonstick pans.

Remember taking food tech in high school, new room, new utensils. Non stick pans with metal utensils to be exact. Nearly had a panic attack first lesson. The teacher got some wooden utensils the next week after I told her that we should be learning to take care of the gear we use as well! 😂

That actually isn't the middle of nowhere, it's in the middle of Dallas, Texas

As someone that helped out around a friends ranch a bit growing up, longhorns are actually not great for meat. They're a naturally lean and tough cow that was great for people settling the west, though they do have an extra beefy flavor and they make great hamburgers. Mostly though people raise longhorns because they look cool lol.

Please. You’ve obviously not grown up with cattle. Feed only goes so far. It’s the breed dude.

Gordon really knows how to make something as simple as steak and eggs look absolutely delicious....although the addition of Teflon flakes seems questionable as a spice.
