Indonesian hard enduro phenomena Uncle Hard Enduro 2023 was a hard nut to crack in the most extreme tropical conditions but that didn’t matter to the GOAT, Graham Jarvis.
Organization and Indonesian government officials put great effort to make the 3rd edition as international as possible. Names like, Graham Jarvis, Wade Young, Alfredo Gomez, Sonny Goggia, Teodor Kabakchiev, Michael Walkner, Matt Green and Dieter Rudolf were lined up to put a great show for the greatest and most enthusiastic fans ever.
Graham Jarvis finished 3rd overall behind Teodor Kabakchiev and Michael Walkner and enjoyed his podium spot. Here is a lap of excellence for you to enjoy from Day 2.

Awesome video. Tough race course consisting of rock covered clay. A tough course for the Greatest Enduro Rider of All-Time. More Graham Jarvis POV videos. I learn something every time you post this kind of view of Hard Enduro riding.

Thats straight up gnarly af terrain, and the man, the myth , the legend making it look easy.
From the sound of it that terrain is extremely challenging to find grip. Lot of noise for only a little bite even from the g.o.a.t.. Much respect.

7:20 seconds in he has that bike pined for a solid 30 seconds. with out letting off. favorite part for sure.
Man he never stalls that thing, wide open for so long to get up that mud, vertical, awesome!
I once saw GJ give a trials riding demonstration. A mountain sheep would have been embarrassed. Nothing could stop or phase him. No wonder he is a fantastic hard enduro rider. He was amazing as a little kid on "Junior Kickstart" on the BBC.

i dont have much of the clay to worry about but the trails i ride have tons of rocks and big boulders and they are one hell of a work out so i can only imagine trying to race this.

I wonder if one day we will see almost all hard enduro events in a format like this, a contained area that is more easily spectated and televised, and the Romanicas style events labeled “classic” or “traditional” hard enduro events. I myself prefer the purely natural forest and landscapes. But I’m not trying to make a living riding it or putting on events. 😀
