The fact that some people don't like Tom Holland to be Nathan Drake is shocking, understandable, but shocking, especially after watching this.

Since when it is shocking for people to have a different opinion from you? Are we still allowed to think for ourselves or what? And the fact that he did his best doesn't mean that we are all supposed to be fans, many people work the best they can everyday and still sometimes drop the ball in the eyes of other people. I will be honest, I have played all of the ps3 and ps4 uncharted games multiple times, I love those games. I watched the movie too, but I watched it quickly and I skipped a few passages. I do not hate Tom Holland as Nathan, I think the directors of the movie did a few bad decisions when it comes to Nathan's character, but Tom Holland is not to blame for the script and whatever they asked him to do. I think he could have been more cocky, more sarcastic in some scenes. One detail that bothered me about him is how rarely he smiles, and because he smiles soo little, you don't get that feeling that he is confident and very cocky, like he is in game, when he first meets Sully and he tells him that he will have a hard time explaining to the police why he is following young boys into alleys. In that scene, he has that little annoying smirk, I would have wanted that type of attitude from a portrayal of Nathan, especially if we are talking about young Nathan and not Nathan as he was in Uncharted 4, he was way more serious at that point, once he knew he could loose Elena over his adventure with Sam. I don't know if the directors told him not to smile, but if he chose not to, this was a bad decision. I didn't see Nathan's cockiness and pride in Tom Holland. I can recognise that he gave a lot of efforts for that role, but that doesn't mean that the result is perfect. I do not see Nathan Drake in Tom Holland.
