It’s not really supposed to scare at the end of the day-the uncanny valley creates feelings of unease and dislike. The vibes of some of these are actually quite charming to me! I love seeing how the makeup works and piecing together the exact moment where it hits for me personally.

3:05 is the only one of these videos to not only actually get the uncanny valley, but also be mindful of the audio cues in the song being used. The others ate up the runtime of the song and spent too much time on the "makeup tutorial" part, that they missed the cue for the instrumental part of the song for the "reveal".

1:09, 3:50, and 4:21 are the best to me. I actively went "I do not like that" with 1:09, but 4:21 had the expressions DOWN. 3:50 went for an animatronic person vibe that has a different flavor of uncanny valley that was incredibly refreshing, but 4:21, man... that smile. her eating. EUGH. i hate it. (i love it.)
