Of the 3 U.S. 1/2 track kits,this is definitely the best of the 3 . The mortar carrier is very nice , but the APC variant is one that was never issued. The only problem I really have with them is that rear track looks awful. Tamiya still refuses to update this part after all these years .They could do up a number of other variants with different bodies with same cab and chasis.Heck remove the track assembly and put on a rear wheel axle .Then you've got a post-war vehicle for parts of Africa, Asia and South America.

Yes if they would upgrade some of their older kits that would be awesome. But i guess these rereleases are just do give some nostalgia and you have to use aftermarket accessories if you want to bring them to todays standards

I really quite surprised at how decent a lot of those old original 1970s Tamiya kits are even by today's standards. I've still got several Tamaya kits from that decade, like the Marder-II, Sdkfz-250/1 "Grief" & M41 Light Tank that still look quite good with a little scratch building and upgrading. Unfortunately, it seems the company has pretty much stopped production of most of these classic kits.

I agree Tamiya had always good quality kits worth their money. I really hope they continue the current trend of re-releasing older kits again. I know that the churchill crocodile will soon be re-released an i am looking forward to it.
Warum muss es unbedingt wieder Englisch sein? KZread wird regelrecht überschwemmt mit allen möglichen Videos in Englisch. Diese Dominanz ist inzwischen extrem nervig. Ich bin froh um jeden Beitrag, der mal nicht in dem scheinbar unvermeidlichen Englisch kommentiert wird...

Englisch ist nunmal die Sprache des Internets und bietet einem dadurch eine deutlich erhöhte Reichweite für seine Beiträge. Und da der Titel ja auch auf Englisch ist es ziemlich komisch zu erwarten das Video wäre auf deutsch. Es zwingt dich niemand die Videos auf Englisch zu gucken.
