I'd recommend seeing a couple films that are in the box set first to make sure it's a style of film you actually can enjoy first. It's quite the pricey box set to pay out for if you're not into old black and white cheesy monster flicks.

Don't know if you noticed, or if it matters, but Creature From the Black Lagoon and Revenge of the Creature both have the original 3D versions if you're 3D Blu-Ray capable. That was one of the big selling points for me when I bought this set.

That WOULD be awesome, if I didn't hate 3D lol. To me, its such a silly gimmick that takes away from the actual film/plot etc. Movies don't need outlandish gimmicks to make me interested. They need good characters, plots, and settings.

@BlackMetalRebellion true. But not all 3D is bad. Granted, most 80s 3D is about the gimmick of throwing things at ya, but a lot of the early 3D films concentrate more on using 3D as a tool to emmerse you in the action and make the film feel like real environment, especially if done right. A movie like House of Wax is a perfect example of 3D enhancing an already great film with the added feel of depth. Now, they're not all winners, granted, and sometimes they still throw stuff at ya, but at least it's a bit more subtle. Now, I'm only positive when it comes to polarized 3D. I hate anaglyph (red/blue). That's awful! LOL

Thanks for weighing in. But I still can't stand wearing 3D glasses while I'm watching a movie. Takes me right out of it and lessens the experience for me.

All of the Invisible Man (and woman) films are awesome, except Abbott & Costello.

Hello, i was just wondering is the blu rays are region free, or not? I'm looking hard on the internet right now but perhaps you may have some knowledge on it

So I checked all over the box set, cases, and discs. Nothing on it states what Region it is. The only thing I could find was a tiny print that says "only to be played on Blu Ray compatible players". So I'm gonna assume it's ALL regions. Normally dvds and Blu rays have very specific logos or markings on them that tell you what Region it is. But this doesn't.
