Just so you know, the primer bulb is on all c-be versions of saws but none of the standard versions, for example the 182 doesn’t have it unless you get it in the c-be version, this is the same on all the saws you can get a c-be version I.e the 231 wont but the 231 c-be will

You are correct thank you for pointing that out. I really don’t recall any steel chainsaws ever having a primer except for the easy start versions and the MS 500 I.

Are we going to see Stihl come out with any more of the larger saws like the 076, 084, and 088?

we have an 881 which replaces the 088. The 661 is another. Doubt they will spend the money on one in between at this point.

I doubt they will anytime soon. The rep at Equip Expo did say they’re going to look into more medium size saws like the category of the 462 and 500I

The saws in this size range don’t warrant many options. Too big for most people.

Interesting. This saw and a 16” bar are a great match with the 61ps3 chain.
