What actually is the RSP input used for ? I haven't purchased yet and want to make sure I order whatever necessary first time around. Alos does it come with an indoor cheap antenna for newbie ?
Hello I'm waiting on my rspdx to arrive here maybe tomorrow ,I downloaded sdruno and tired to bring it up and it ask for a wave file to start up .Will this let it start with out rspdx like in a demo mode? were is the wave file at that it ask for?Don
Can you please let me know if I can use SDRPLAY RSPdx connected to Radio Kenwood TS 890S for an external monitor as panadapter ?? How to install? thanks

Really impressed with the duo I bought the dx too. While I wait to get the dx can uno handle a dx and a duo in the same machine concurrently? Also looking forward to Sdruno support on Linux and Raspberry Pi.

Yes. You can launch multiple copies of SDRuno on a windows machine. I just double checked and first launched the RSPdx and then added 2 instances for the RSPduo in master and slave mode. The PC resource demands will necessarily increase but assuming you have a reasonably good PC you should be fine.

@@SDRplayRSP Thank you, much appreciated. Yeah, I think my PC is more than capable of running many copies of uno :) Good to hear about the excellent integration and well thought out design. A rarity in this throw away world.
Thank you for the video. However, you do not cover what comes in the box. It's probably a stupid question but does each device come with a USB lead or will a customer need to buy one separately ?

No USB lead if you buy direct from SDRplay on www.sdrplay.com/purchase/ The challenge of supplying connectors and cables at a competitive price is not something which we have felt that we would be able to do in a competitive way. Also, we are aware that most of our sales or RSPs are via our distributors and resellers, and these companies already have access to the peripheral items at a competitive price in their country.

@@eddiejames6589 Does not come with antenna. probably a good idea as there are so many types. Its not battery powered either. the power comes over USB

@@paulturkk6837 under normal circumstances just a regular USB A to B cable will be fine (printer lead) - torroids help if you are in a high noise environment - then something like the Tripp Lite leads are good www.amazon.co.uk/Tripp-Lite-U023-006-Ferrite-Chokes-Black/dp/B003MQ29B2

What are the benefits for RSP Duo existing users please ?

ralphthebrick you will only see a benefit if you are interested in LF/VLF. The dx is the replacement for the RSP2 and fills the “gap” between the RSP1A and the RSPduo.
