Unboxing the Real Apple 1 : The First Computer Apple Ever Made

Hi everyone! I’m incredibly excited to bring you a truly special video: the unboxing and the powering up of the original Apple 1, the legendary computer that marked the dawn of the modern tech revolution. This isn’t just any piece of history; it’s the very first product ever created by Apple, a true icon in the world of computing.
The Apple 1, conceived in 1976 by Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, represents the moment when computer technology began to move from laboratories into the homes and minds of ordinary people.
This particular Apple 1 belongs to Marco Boglione, the founder and president of BasicNet and he acquired this Apple 1 through an auction held by Christie’s, one of the world’s most prestigious auction houses. His acquisition of this Apple 1 is a symbol of his passion for technology history and his appreciation for valuable artifacts that have shaped our present.

Waz really deserves a lot more credit for the early Apple computers than he gets. He made the early Apple computers easy to upgrade. He invited people to experiment on thier Apple computers. Much different from the modern Apple computers where if you don't have Apple Care you're screwed.

The Apple I had a breadboard area. The Apple II had expansion slots.. Woz was an awesome engineer and very keen on people tinkering with his creations. He is the vey soul of Apple and you are correct nobody gives him enough credit

I did solder one of these, the second serial. One friend father did order the beast, and we did the assembly. It was not supplied originaly with IC DIL supports, but we did add them to be able to replace any faulty component. We also improved the power supply to improve stability. Ou can't imagine the joy when turning on the first time with the blinking cursor.
