    It bothers me that the logo styling/font on the ratchet head doesn’t match the styling/font on the soft grip. Also, the new comfort grip reminds me of the HF Pittsburgh design, with how the color on the ends of the grip, integrates into the text of the branding. Thanks for going over all these new ratchets! Very informative!

    I like the new logo on the head, but it's just lazy that they didn't make handles to match. For what Snap-On charges, they should pay attention to this stuff.

    @@drengskapthey probably have 10’s of Thousands of grips left from doing runs of the colors (&style) previous to these. And Snappy is a huge company, they DEF aren’t going to let all that $$ go to waste. I bet, eventually after those are almost all run thru.. they miiiight come up with a new design/logo for the grips to match the head? But who knows? 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Interestingly enough, the head profile of the "new" design is reminiscent of their earlier style ratchets. I'll have to get you some part numbers, but I believe they would've been either 80's or 90's designs.

"the ratchet god" can't wait to see your review of these especially with your engineering background I love technical insights that a person like yourself can provide. like why the switch is so heavy and what the back-drag is on these. Also would love if ProjectFarm did his testing on them as well.

    Haven't tried one yet but i own like 11 dual 80s. My opinion i dont care for that new design on the soft grip handle. Looks Pittsburgy to me. What weird is i like snap on but ive broken 8 out my 11 ratchets at least twice some like 4 times and my 1/2" Pittsburgh has never broken on me. Idk. Plus the driver never wants to stop unless i owe him money. Cant buy something everytime the man stops when i already have everything i need.

    My f936 ratchets have a heavier detent on the selector switch than what is on the dual 80s. To me the dual 80s switch is a tad to easy to switch and at times feels a little mushy. There is alot of hate coming from the Harbor freight boys. We get it you save money buying cheap Chinese knock offs. Congrats nobody cares. Ill stick with an American owned company that employs Americans to assemble them. All while delivering a superior product.

  • @rvtechpro

    @rvtechpro

    6 ай бұрын

    No. A better or maybe an equally important question would be "Can we make them in the USA?" To answer the question, “Can the US produce lithium-ion batteries domestically?”, the answer is no - the US alone cannot. Creating lithium-ion batteries solely in the US would be unrealistic and too expensive for several reasons.
