I've got the exact same model and I've found that it doesn't hurt to splash another $30 AUD on it to purchase another 8 gigs of RAM.

@@aquatone01 Nah you just gotta insert it with the offset pointed in the right way and push down for an audible click. Good choice to upgrade the SSD as it's only 256 gb

It is such a good laptop I use mine every day and the only issue for me is battery life. (also i dont like the mouse pad)

Yeah totally agree. It's great! The screen, the specs and the build are all excellent. It even comes with extra slots to expand rhe RAM and storage. Incidently hoping to do a video on that in the coming months.

Hi, you the touch pad but no mouse. I just use a cheap wireless mouse instead.

How much battery life in normal usage

I would say if constant probably around 6 hours to 8 hours tops. The reason I say this was general usage I was getting around 6 to 10 hours when new.

How About Gaming Experience

Gaming wise it's pretty good. I have run both Eve and MS Flight Simulator and both run pretty good. Eg With flight sim I can have the graphics quite high but have turned down a few items like grass. I did upgrade the ram from the 8gb to 16gb. Please see my other video on how to do that.

i have this laptop the screen display flex is wonky after a week of 9 hrs zoom meeting usage in 36-37 degree Celsius weather. the service center in Singapore voided my warranty based on adding in an ssd in with this term 3. The Product is damaged due to alterations, changes, modifications, repair, or other services performed by a third party that is not authorized by MSI; do not buy this laptop. because of the hinge issue

I mainly use a wireless mouse just because I've never properly gotten use to them. However, the times I have used its been a hell of a lot better than my old lappy. No accidental clicks from my wrist resting on the chassis.
