Rose Gold was an extremely popular color a few years back...people were really upset when it was removed from the color selection. My guess is that Apple will bring it back in a few years...

I only get mous cases for my iPhones and AirPods Pro, for my iPhone the clarity case is a must and Leigh my XS I got a bamboo case and this year with my 12 pro max I got amirid fiber case and the clarity case, I always order the cases first then the phone

I ordered this color and can't wait for it to arrive! I've always had dark colored phones aside from the iPhone 8, which I had in gold. This color was just so clean looking when I saw it in stores, I had to go for it.

Hi Magpie Beauty! I have the Pacific Blue 12 Pro and the Silver 12 Pro Max. For a naked iPhone, the Pacific Blue is definitely the winner--such a striking color! But if you are using a case, it is easier to coordinate with the Silver, because everything goes with Silver. And keep in mind that with the big camera square these phones have now, the color of your phone is much more on display than it used to be with older iPhone models. Good luck with your decision!

Theresa, I have both the 12 Pro and the 12 Pro Max...and the 12 Pro is just a more practical phone. The size is better in your hand, in your handbag, in your pockets. I'd go 12 Pro, if I were you!

I agree! I had to buy one for my 12 pro max, but you wanna hear worse? I decided to upgrade my father from his 6s plus to an 11 and when I got it, there was NO wall adapter. I called AT&T and they said that apple is slimming down and not including them, YES even though they did as early as March this year when my friend bought the 11 pro max. I’m thinking really!!!!

Wow! I did not know that. That's seriously irritating. Even with all the phones I buy, I still don't have many 20 watt wall adapters around. I have the one I bought a few weeks ago, and then I have the 18 watt from the 11 Pro last year. I guess it is a market opportunity for Apple!! Disappointing for its customers, though.

Hi Catalin! Only the iPhone 12 series phones sold in the United States have the special 5G antenna on the side. That is an antenna for the superfast mmwave form of 5G--there are two kinds of 5G currently, and the US iPhones work with both kinds while iPhones sold in other countries only have antennas for the slower kind of 5G, called sub-6. I live in Shanghai due to my husband's job, so my iPhone was purchased here in Shanghai...and therefore has no cool 5G mmwave antenna on the side.

I got the 12 Pro Max in gold and it’s beautiful and it looks so premium. The case I got is the Apple leather case in saddle brown. Both colors look good together. Of all the gold shades that came out, Apple nailed the perfect shade of gold on the 12.

Many people have said the gold one can look dingy under certain lighting. The silver should always look clean.

Hi Rinan. I ended up with some micro scratches on my silver 11 Pro last year, and I don't believe that I've ever knowingly gotten scratches on the sides of an iPhone before. My understanding is that the silver stainless steel sides of the Pro phones don't have the same protective coating as the other colors do, and are therefore more likely to get small scratches, but that if they do get scratches, they can be buffed out...which is not possible with the other stainless steel colors.

It’s silver but looks white . Got the silver max 256 . And my iPhone came with a peel off on the back and paper peel on the glass , and my phone came with a SIM card , yet it said not included. I had the Xs and it was time to upgrade. I waited because 13 is my lucky number, and I had a feeling they weren’t going to call it 12s

Hi Kadri! I'm guessing you use the phone without a case? I can see that the edges of the 12 series might be less comfortable, in that situation...I think the 12 Pro is less slippery than the Xs, however...

@@TheTechReviewer Yes without a case because I never liked the feel of 99% of cases for most iPhones. Also I was hoping for the chamfered edges but it wasn't there..As for the user experience its pretty much the same since 4 years..X,XS, 11Pro, 12 Pro. Hope the next one changes our experience.

I’ve had the Pro Max for just a day now. Feeling like it’s too large and heavy. Lifting it to my face for a phone call feels weird. I keep thinking that I’m carrying a conspicuous tablet phone. The Mini is really nice for portability. It’s light and very comfortable to hold. But the screen might be a bit small. It could be good to use a smaller phone as a way to force oneself to reduce phone usage.

It's my first iPhone, so I'm not so sure what to expect in terms of longevity. I tend to keep my phones for 4-5 years and only use it for calls/text, reading articles, and social media. Well, operating systems and apps seem to only get more resource-hungry over time, so it does seem like having more RAM is going to future proof your phone more. But that's just my guess...I'm really no expert in that area... Typically, iPhones have been very reliable over the years. My brother, for example, is upgrading this year to the 12 mini...and he's coming from a 6 Plus! But this longevity has actually caused some problems for Apple, because people have been reluctant to upgrade because their older devices are still going strong. Whether this will continue in future is anyone's guess, however.

As someone with both phones (actually, all three phone sizes when you count the 12 mini my husband has) , I would have to say that the 12 Pro is the best. The 12 Pro Max is beautiful and capable, and the camera is awesome, but it is just so big. I like big phones, but I think the 12 Pro Max is just too big. The 12 Pro is a better choice.

I’m ordering me a silver iPhone 12 Pro Max since my iPhone 12 Pro Max camera is destroyed and the lenses is poked out and have some nasty residue inside the camera which is the reason why I’m ordering this new iPhone cause I can’t even take photos on the phone cause of the camera😭

I've been on my 7 Plus since 2018 and love it. I decided to upgrade this year to the 12, mostly for the camera. But I'm already having to go to the Genius Bar to get a replacement (it's been 4 days)! The phone screen is nothing to write home about. In fact, I find my 7+ is more color accurate and text/photos look more crisp on the 7 compared to the 12. The colors on the 12 screen don't pop either. 🤔 I also tried the Magsafe charger and it overheated my phone so much on first try (no case, in a cold room) that the battery stopped charging. 😳 The size and weight of the 12 don't bother me at all, as it's literally almost identical in dimension compared to the 7+, except for the border of the 7. The battery has been decent, the night mode on the 12 is pretty cool, but some apps look funky on the screen because the screen is taller than usual phones, so certain things go off the screen. I do hate the notch, it's a distraction. Overall, I'm so-so about the 12 Pro Max. I'd give it 6/10. I'm wondering if you're finding your screen is not very crisp and detailed? Is it my specific phone that's faulty or is it because of the OLED screen? I bought the gold and while it's pretty, it looks dingy in low light. I'm going to replace the phone with a white/silver and give this phone one last chance.

Hi Bella! So sorry to hear you aren't happy with your 12 Pro Max. For the MagSafe charging issue, I wonder if you are running into the automatic limiting of battery charging to 80%: support.apple.com/en-us/HT210512 You can turn this off in settings. And for the display issue, you might want to play with your Trutone display settings. Also, some people are reporting yellow looking screens with the iPhone 12 series: discussions.apple.com/thread/251954592 Good luck! Hope you get a phone you love!

I wish one could say the problem is limited to batches of phones manufactured in the US, but people are complaining about the same problem from Europe to South America. Thanks for the tip on the Magsafe. But I'm going to pass on that feature altogether, as I really thought my phone would set itself on fire, that's how hot it got. 😳 Going to the Apple store tomorrow to exchange the phone. If it's also faulty, I'll be sticking with my 7 Plus. ☹️

@@rinanmanuel4575 I am Italian, I apologize for my English 🙏🏼 I was lucky enough to try all 4 colors at home, even if for a few days, I can assure you that scratches or something similar, but gold undoubtedly captures fingerprints and halos more than others, especially in correspondence of the keys. White is 3 i 4 what you keep is "cleaner", I hope I was useful to you. And in any case, if you are undecided, go belly-up or you will be left with remorse for having wanted that color that you have never bought

I really want to get the Iphone 12 or the Iphone 12 pro max since I like big phones....But their so damn fragile when it comes to any apple product especially their phones, I don't want to have to regret buying it if I can't put a rear glass screen protector on the back of the 12 pro max because of that matte finish.....=( I like protecting all of my devices to the max even though i've not broken a single phone and I rarely drop my phone but accidents can happen so I always like having a protector on my screen, back and camera but if I can't then that's going to be a issue

Hi Toni! I haven't tried to put on a back protector on a matte glass back...not sure what the result would be. I think the matte glass back is quite scratch resistant--your big concern would be impact, and the back glass on these phones isn't made of the same special impact resistant glass as the screen is (the ceramic shield which is 4x more impact resistant). A good case should be sufficiently impact resistant--are you planning to use the phone without a case?

@@TheTechReviewer oh yes that’s why I like putting back glass screen protectors on the back of glass back phones especially iPhones because their so expensive and yup I always use a case as well even though I don’t drop my phone much at all. I’ve never broke a phone either I’m very careful

Hi Toni! I would guess that if you use a good protective case, the back glass on your phone should be fine. And I'm not sure that using a glass back protector in addition to a case is really a good idea. For cases with a precise fit, the manufacturers sometimes explicitly recommend against using a back protector together with a case. I think the reason is that you are adding thickness to the phone by adding the back protector, so the fit of the case will not be quite right. Everything will be shifted up slightly...RhinoShield, for example, sells a protective polymer back protector, but they say it should only be used with their bumper case, or on a naked iPhone---not with their SolidSuit case or ModNX case in backplate mode...

@@TheTechReviewer Yeah it just scares me not to use a back glass screen protector but yeah that’s true that if I use a good case it should be ok. I love Rhinoshield cases! But the only case I used from them was the crash guard but this is even if I can upgrade. I have the iPhone XR so the iPhone 12 or the iPhone 12 pro max would be a huge upgrade. I might switch to android though I like both platforms

Here in India For an IPhone 12 Pro Max we have to give more than $2000 for 256 GB variant + $26 + $90 for cheap apple earpieces... WTF?? Brainless Concept to Save Earth 🥴🥴
