If we’re talking about original content, yes. There are 3 “part 1” and 2 “part 2”. But if from the point of view of the developers’, The Last of Us Part I Remake is a game of its own. They worked hard for it. So 3 games and 2 remasters.

The comment was saying that the franchise had more remasters than games but I wanted to point out that a remake technically counts as a game of its own because the studio had to work hard for it and even though the story and the game design isn’t original pretty much everything else had to be made from scratch. So it’s still more games (2+1) than remasters (2)

@@GabrieleTarallo The work from scratch is worth a quality and detail oriented, but it feels like it has less contents aside from the custom outfits and skins, speedrun mode, and settings adjustments. I still adore that game they say they provide for us and that so I like and appreciate it overall.

Or at least kept the multiplayer from part 1, I brought the part 1 remake and it was fun playing the game again but it's a 1 and done, nothing to make me wanna play it again, I'd rather play part 2 since the gameplay is more evolving

I remember cutting grass just to save up for the ps3 version release, and now I have the remastered for the ps5 and ps4. Such a good game.

This IP is just that famous it needed to redone several times. This IP has become so iconic that has HBO masterpiece. TLOU went down to be one of the greatest games of all time. Sony scored man, this was the game of century, it appears to be one of the best games to this day. HBO nailed the show man.
