I’ve got this in the Burnt Sienna Indexed edition. Very, very nice. I love the icons embedded in the text which highlight texts which indicate need for obedience, crises of decision, God’s love, etc. really adds to the reading and understanding experience. Quite a different Bible from any other. 😊🇦🇺

If anyone is interested in a "textbook" looking Bible like this one, The Readable Bible will be released on November 1st, they made a more visual and appropriate format for certain texts, like making a family tree for the genealogies, pictures for whats described (like the ark of the covenant), etc. I've been keeping an eye out for this for a while and I'm happy to see they finally have a release date.

Kinda hurt me that he didn’t take the dust jacket off the Bible! But I’m looking forward to getting my own addition!

I just started watching your videos to pickup what I want from my CSB line of bibles from Study to Scripture only. I have yet to find a scripture only with no notes on it for CSB. I recently changed from NLT to CSB just because CSB isn't as heavy understanding as NLT is, but I know that NLT has more devotionals and One Year Plan books that I could use instead of sticking with NLT all the time. Might even throw in NKJV just for good measure too.

Maybe I’m not understanding what you’re saying, but it sounds like in the beginning of your post you were saying that you couldn’t find a CSB Bible with only scripture. Am I understanding that right? There are many CSB Bibles with scripture only. If I did understand you and you’re looking for a scripture only CSB Bible, please respond to this and I can give you a list of some. God Bless!

it sounds like title and content match! I get so frustrated with 'study' Bibles that aren't 'study' and devotional that don't even relate to Scripture (IMO!). This year I've been using Love God Greatly Bible from Nelson (NET translation) for my one year reading plan - I got it because of the HUGE margin space! it also has prompts that I didn't pay attention to but as the year has gone by I've been noticing them and reflecting on them. This one w as designed for using the SOAP method hence all the space! but there's no way I could fit that exercise in those margins so.... it also has pages before each book thatshow a map and highlight a message from someone inthat country with some of her background. I may or may not read this then use the pages for sticky notes around the edges so I can still read the other if I want. they're designed for prayer focus (I think!) I'm a very unfocused person LOL! but this one sounds similar minus the stuff by other people. one frustration I've had with this type of Bible with the reflection questions is there are no answers given!!! I'll readit and think 'yeh that's whata I wanna know' but I''m supposed to answer it - somehow!

Agree Susanna. The Love God Greatly is a very useful Bible. I love all the individual reading plans and use it for Bible study with a friend. I think Tim and Becca did a review on it as well. Blessings 😊

@@sandracoombs2255 LOL his video is probably the one I bough tit after LOL! not sure but I remember posting on one of his Grace and Truth I think that that Bible would bug me but then I ordered! just can't seem to help myself LOL! and this one appeals with the color - color draws me in to the content and keeps me more focused

The Love God Greatly Bible has a separate book for you to do the SOAP method. You don’t have to get it of course, but they didn’t intend for you to write all of that out in the Bible itself. The wide margins are for notes, reflection, prayers and even art journaling. The Experiencing God Bible is very different from Love God Greatly. Sure, there are things to reflect on through writing. I find the best thing for that is a very good notebook, either A5 or B4 sized. Out of those two Bibles, I like the Experiencing God Bible better by a long shot. (For post it’s, maybe consider the transparent ones. They’re great for Bibles!)

⁠@@938quilt I did the same thing with the Grace and Truth Bible (I was looking for a NAS anyway). I also got Love God Greatly a few months after the review. I got an indexed version for under $20…a steal. I’m not crazy about it, though. Do you think I have the Experiencing God Bible? Yes. Yes, I do. (It’s my fav of the 3, 2nd most liked translation of the 3) Do you know what else I have? A problem😂🤣 I love Bibles. I own so many Bibles that I think it is a problem. However, all but a few serve a purpose of some kind. …and those few are being donated. But still…a bit of a problem.
