You see sir, when making videos like this on testing devices, you should state the pros and cons of the device [e.g. in terms of cost, maintenance, speed comparisons with other network providers (not just stating the download/upload speeds), etc], so viewers can have an unbiased assessment of this device. Now I saw you connect the router to a power source. Does this mean that the connection goes off when power supply is absent? How feasible is this in a country like Nigeria with epileptic power supply? If this is so, then starlink may be ultimately a more expensive option because you will need 24hrs power supply for its operation, and the cost of maintaining such power supply in the country is humungous. Secondly, you never stated any cost comparisons and download speed comparisons not just with other major network providers in Nigeria but also compared to other starlink user countries. For instance, in countries like Australia the download speed for starlink is about 240mbps, in Switzerland it is about 378mbps, which makes that of Nigeria (you said you got 24-38mbps) extremely low or dwarfed. These are some of the stuffs I expected you to address in this video to make it a very comprehensive review, and give viewers an informed choice on which to go for. Thanks for the video anyways. It was somewhat helpful, especially seeing this to be one of the very first reviews of starlink in Nigeria. Cheers.

In the Philippines, it costs 2,700 PESOS monthly compared to PLDT FIbr with 200mbps at 1,299. If STARLINK will never get their price lowered, their business will fall. Yes, it is completely outdoors. With Starlink, there are no hard data caps and traffic will not be prioritized based on content. Starlink has a Fair Use Policy to ensure that the service quality of the typical user is not negatively impacted by users who consume high amounts of data.

@@sciencekingdom2322 actually a rural area is big an advantage with Starlink as you’d have no surrounding interference. What your forgetting is there could be other signals from all other properties/buildings around him creating interface. Resulting in his poor connection (stuff you can’t see with human eye like TV aerials, TV dishes, 4G/5G antennas, WIFI router signals and of course electrical frequency interference (the list can do on). So living multi-building area could be disadvantage to Starlink if that makes sense

That process of attaching it to an account is if you buy it here in Nigeria. I ordered mine directly from starlink website and an account must be created in that process. Also note that when you buy locally, you will be on a roaming plan in which the monthly charge is higher than the residential.
