Yes, you are right there is something more to that of his invention because electricity can't be generated from stones that is been use as insulator at transformer spot. If there is more investigation on it the truth will be known.

The university of Ibadan is over 75 years now with several professors of technology, physics, engineering, etc. Yet they cannot generate electricity for the campus. The same thing with all the other public universities in Nigeria. Many of them do research only to publish in international journals in order to get promotion to be professors. That's their ultimate. Then they retire and then die and their university depending on NEPA/TCN. Some of them can't even generate their own water.

You can do work with solar energy. In some cases you can create batteries and lights with salt water O_o. If you gather wood and burn it create a heat generator that creates electricity. All you need for electricity is to move a magnet around with some source of energy.

Not sure what to make of this, but if there's a stone that produces free energy, that's not necessarily good news for the Energy Companies. That's just it! Exactly what I was thinking about. It's the piezoelectric effect, a material or an element generating electric current when subjected to mechanical stress. Basically it's converting the stress/mechanical energy to electrical energy. We should also remember the laws of conservation of energy, which states that "Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed, but passed from one form to another". Therefore the only rational explanation to these phenomenon is that the stone is generating electric by converting another from of energy into it.

Sadly the BBC discredited that story. They said it was a hoax. This is how Africans are discredited. The truth of the matter is that those stones in Congo are able to create electricity but because this would disrupt industries of big nations they cannot let this technology thrive. I believe this boy has made a great invention. And it is good he has not divulged critical information which can be used against him.

This is a very smart man

I learnt a government official from Ekiti state visited the boy and his report was that there was no way the stones could generate electricity. He, however didn't make a video to confirm his visit and findings. Let Nigerians try him with a take off grant to see the outcome. I guessed he might be hiding some facts knowing fully well that the project could be hijacked by smart Nigerians. If two stones with wire can produce electricity for a whole building, the problem of inadequate power supply should by now be over. Good luck to the boy.

We tend to look for the negatives, let him be assisted in with grant money. He knows Nigerian politicians are corrupt, and would make that for their children and wipe him out.... He should not give out the recepi without proper structure in place. That is work for years and you just want to give it away on youtube for free, respect your own. Let a check be signed for him, let him put structure of his company in place. He was not lucky to go to school, had he gone to school what will the teachers teach him about that trade, Nothing!!!! School system is useless if you ask me...for years...
