I've just played with the Crest Audio Tactus Digital Mixing System. It's an amazing combination of hardware and software to mix any size of event from the very small to the crazily large.
It's modular so you can expand and adapt and have up to three different mixing consoles for front of house monitors and recording all in one integrated system.
