I can’t choose just one. From early years I will take A Hard Day’s Night, mid years I choose Revolver, and later years I choose The Beatles (White Album).

The only criticism of the MFSL Beatles albums was the "smiley-face EQ" they used on those albums. Most audiophiles prefer the original Parlophone UK pressings cut by Harry Moss at EMI Abbey Road.

@@VinylLatte That's a hard question. 😳 I like all their albums I can't choose one. I own a boxed cd set of the American albums that the Beatles released there. Their early albums had instrumental tracks of some of their songs on them. I like those albums.

I was allowed to grade a mfsl Beatles box a few years back and it was a treat!! Couldn’t afford it but listened all the way through and was pleased! But the modern remastered albums are better to me🥳👏🕊️

I have no problem with the eq on this album or any of the other Beatles MFSL albums I have. Other MFSL albums I have are also excellent. Led Zeppelin II is outstanding. They were a product of their time, and nowadays I find it humorous how many reviewers nitpick them apart. In my opinion, most of Giles Martin's remixes of Beatles albums are terrible. Sure they sound good, but the liberties he's taken with remixing the songs is awful. The worst is "I Am The Walrus". His job was to take the original material and using today's technology make it sound as best as he could, not rewrite it. Just my opinion.

Part of me feels that dedicated Beatles fans want to stay as true to OG as possible. Remastered pressings, such as this one, get bad marks regardless if they heard them or not. To me, it’s the fun of collecting variants. I dont necessarily want every pressing of an album to sound exactly the same. I like a little variety. In my humble opinion, this one sounds really good. Just lacked in the mids on occasion, which quickly disappeared into the rest of the sound.

I bought this back when they came out. If you ever see the Magical Mystery Tour do not buy it as it's not the real stereo version. They screwed up and did not get the right master. The best version of this LP is the German one!

You want to hear the songs? Stream them on an audiophile streamer! You just instantly ruined the value of that album by half. It survived staying sealed all these years and you had to bid on it basically just to destroy another artifact of history? How special. You're a poor example of the vinyl community.
