Cheers Dave, a throughly enjoyable video as always 😁
Love the variety you have in your collection. Looking forward to the update.
very cool!!!!
Hello great video information and update Dave
They are very nice spider's. Best of luck with them.
Dave, I've recently spent about 20+ hours watching, and enjoying, your videos. I just love watching you work so gently with these typically quite frightening animals, and it's really turned me onto the hobby. Ironically, it seems like quite a calming hobby when done correctly, aside from a few hairy situations! Recently an older gentleman who was a good friend to me passed away who was very much a fan of spiders (and all animals), and I've given some serious thought to getting a couple of spiders myself. Anyways, I'd like to thank you for creating such a wonderful resource for this underappreciated hobby. Many thanks from _New_ England, USA!

Love your channel, mate. Really do... your attitude works and adds to that... along with your inviting tone. You did say the male was developed but also said he was quite small ... so he might be okay for breeding later? Suggestion... could you do a weekly recap of your spiders you recently got in as a sought of general update? Like I'd personally like to see the trap doors these guys make in the next few days, for instance.

Hello Dave and Camera Lady. What interesting spiders and quite lovely. The subtle yellow pattern on the abdomen is really very pretty. It will be intriguing to see the advancement of the project. Of course it is always fun to get new babies. Have any new egg sacs dropped? Just curious. I have the distinct feeling that you will have no issues finding homes for your skeleton legs if the pairing was successful. Seems like a lot of people are looking for them. Anyway, thank you for my midweek fix. Thank you again for doing what you both do. Good night!❤🌗✨

Love the uniqueness of the trap door spiders! Funny story-I know your not a fan of jumping spiders but I’ve had the oddest experience this last week with them…I went out to my vehicle and on the door was a small male. Then a few days later on the inside of our storm door I found an adult female! I caught & kept each separately few days but felt guilty so put them back in the exact place I found them. I think if there’s a third I’ll just have to keep it right?!😆And last winter I was desperate to buy one! 🤔were they around me all this time and I just never noticed?
Good show Dave thanks 👍

Males in the hobby are rare as not collected that often as there not as colourful and dont get as big but we need more males collecting so we can captive bred them
Beautiful trap door spiders. I do love the golden colours on the female. It would be interesting watching the pairing of these two. Some people should know that these types of spiders, are a definite no no to touch. I avoid it even with my tarantulas, especially the most defensive ones. Anyway cool video Dave

I bought one of these on February 2nd, I followed your methods for set up. she dug a hole, ate a cricket and I never saw her again. There was no trap just an empty hole. Tonight I thought I'd empty the tub as I presumed dead almost 4months later. Inside I found what was like a small leather purse. I pulled it open and inside was mum and at a guess 50 slings 😲😄🕷️. Not sure what to do but if you contact me Dave I'll send you some.

@@daveslittlebeasties theyre the ball python/leopard gecko of the arachnids industry. Great for getting someone into the hobby, personable and non aggro.
