I love those wire cutters - I gotta get me some of those. My wire cutters are my favourite tool and I find it very therapeutic and cathartic snipping off wire one curl at a time… 😊

@@BlueJayBonsai Check out your seed catalogs for some. I think there is one called Top Hat that has small leaves and grows about 2 feet/0.61meters tall. Now that would make a nice video for you.
I just bought my first real pair of trimmers from Chris at the kw show, I spent more then you did but I guess it was worth the extra money to meet Chris Hendery

They all look like nice tools. I've never gotten used to the little leaf trimmers though, their use just doesn't feel natural, I find using my fingers or pruners is much quicker

Well of course a PA goes in that pot! Or a larch 😂. I also prefer the stainless steel: easier to maintain and sanitize! I wonder if they ship to the US, I have to switch to copper always if I need above a 5.

I only own 2 "proper" bonsai tools, both Ryuga (concave cutter and knob cutter) I admit I can't compare them, having no experience of using other brands, but I think they're really decent quality and they don't break the bank (concave was £38 bought three years ago) 💚

nice tools. I have the branch splitter from ryuga too. I am not a fan of the leaf clipper, and prefer normal scissors. Let me know how you fare with these!
