I own this monitor and it is a beast. Very quick, great colors and works great with my 6650 XT. I am really pleased how smooth everything feels, even on the desktop. The color compared to my old TN monitor are night and day difference. In games I do notice very very slight motion blur in very high movement scenarios.. however, for the price point I doubt there is much that can match this monitor's speed, color gamut and quality. For those asking it does have a VESA mount and it can achieve 8-bit 240hz using the HDMI port and 10-bit 240hz using display port.

I have two of these and if you don't care about having rgb in the back and only care about the gaming experience, then they are great monitors, I personally got two running on a pc with a 15 13th gen using a 3060 rtx and I get 240hz display no problem. 😊

My pc is Ryzen 3 3100 gtx 1650 8x2 3200mhz cl16 1-alienware AW2521HF 2-Asus VG259QM (1) and (2) are the same price Or one of those two ($120 USD cheaper) 3-asus tuf VG24VQE 4-asus tuf VG24VQ Or this one 5-Samsung odyssey G5 165hz (the 27” curved model not the G50A) (5) is about $30 USD cheaper than (1) or (2) If I get (5) I’ll have to downscale it to 1080P and deal with 1080P at 27” for an unknown period of time , as I cannot guarantee a GPU upgrade anytime soon or even in years but upgrading the GPU is still a possibility and I could build another PC just not now and I don’t know when will I have enough money for that NOTE !! If the G5 does not come with a cable that can fully utilize its capabilities then please inform me , if that’s the case then I’ll remove it from my options

@@alikhaled2389 No experience with these monitors so take this with a grain of salt but personally I'd go with (1) or (2) for the Gsync compatibility. I think that's a pretty significant improvement when you have an Nvidea GPU. Have heard good things from friends about Alienware monitors as a brand.

You can change the height and the angle of the monitor. So you can change it to what is most comfortable for you.

What did you say that you need in order to have 240Hz? Some special cable?

Yes, the hdmi cables dont support 240hz, but they still send the monitor without dp cable..

@@ausarge hdmi does support 240hz at 1080p, it needs to be hdmi 2.0, so pretty much every hdmi cable you can buy now is compatible with the monitor

im just returning this monitor....honestly i dont understand all the great reviews, compared to my lg ultragear this one is soo bad the colors the lighting the picture quality is just soo poor im a bit disappointed i dont think i'll ever buy another samsung in my life (monitor was generally so dark as well i could barely see anything on the screen compared to the lg) i just had to comment to balance all the positive comments coz some1 might buy this monitor and be disappoiinted...but to be fair for the price u pay for it if u dont have alot of money and have a limited budget this one might be an okey option ...maybe

@@lester45 lg ultragear 27 2k or i would've bought the same one 25 hd if i wanted hd, lg worked out for me very well so far i have the 34 ultrawide lg as well and they are all amazing picture quality , but hey its just my opinion some people might like samsung and it might work out for them but for me since i already had another lg the quality difference was too big when i was looking at both monitors so i couldnt bear it

It has a Display port and HDMI port, but I have no idea if that fits your soundbar, I can't say for sure if it will work.

How do you turn it on? You SKIPPED that part. I'm taking this thing back to the store. It won't turn on, the settings are MICROSCOPIC and upside down. I vote thumbs down, no remote, hard to turn on, the rest is nice except I can't turn it on to test it.

No mine only came with an HDMI cable. I had to buy the Display Port cable separately.

You just move it by hand, it takes a little bit of force but there is no switch or anything like that.

@@longlongman I feel like an idiot now. After setting the monitor up for my daughter, I was going on about how there's no adjustment screw or lever, my daughter walks up and just moves it up and down by hand. DUH!?!

ordered mine was pretty nice deal from 400 to 200 bucks on samsung store
