I had virtually no say in my wedding, so when it was my daughter’s turn, I just did it all her way. It was not how I would have done it, and I did offer advice, but I felt I righted a wrong. I know yours will be lovely.

Weddings are such a money vacuum! We spent as little as possible on the service and put it all towards the reception food, drink, and guest experience. For at least 10 years after our wedding, our families repeatedly said it was the best wedding they'd ever attended. All the grandmothers, great grands, and great-aunties/uncs were shaking it on the dance floor. My great-aunt grabbed a single, goodlooking groomsman to dance and then sent him back to the table with her cane. Said she'd just hold on to him! 😂

Thought you'd like to know the rhyme, something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a sixpence in your shoe. I had a sixpence in my shoe and forgot it was there, and we are 35 years in. Happy wedding planning. x

Hi Cassie! There is nothing wrong with doing what you want for your wedding! I wish I could have been more like you when I got married! I married into a huge Italian family, had 250 guests for the reception, and by the time the dance began there were over 300 guests present! I just wanted a small family get together!! So when my son got married, I told my husband to step back and let them do what they wanted! It was a beautiful wedding in our backyard and it was perfect for them! 💕☺️🇨🇦

It is first and foremost a custom, stunning piece of glass art that deserves a place of importance in a living room or gallery hallway for all to admire. The fact that it is TBE is secondary to me. The fact that it will be a wedding memory is beyond words. All art should have a story, and a story this one will definitely have. Beyond excited for you for this.

Couldn’t agree more Cassie, your wedding your way, forget what anyone else thinks. I’m doing everything my mother wanted to do for her wedding but wasn’t allowed to (it’s what I genuinely want for myself). Complete with a blue dress that I can wear again, no guests except for our immediate families, a celebrant that can make us laugh through the whole “ceremony” & somewhere outside in nature so beautiful naturally that it doesn’t need any further decorations or embellishments. Your wedding bag is absolutely beautiful, it’s just so you.

Girl! Do it EXACTLY as you and your future husband want! My wedding cost half the price of your bag, including the dress! On the day we looked the epitome of who we are as individuals and the ceremony was beautiful. The reception was small and the food was delicious and lots of it. We decided that the food was the most important thing for us so most of our budget was spent on that. Do it your way baby! Congratulations!

First of all, the bag is gorgeous and is so you! Love that you're choosing things that reflect you and your personal style and making that a priority for your wedding! I bought a pair of the Carrie Bradshaw Manolos for my wedding shoe (the ones that get stolen from the friend's house) in a dark champagne. I knew I would never wear a pair of white shoes if I had gotten white. I got a lot of comments for the fact that they weren't a white shoe - I still wear them to every formal event I go to and I got married 14 years ago!!!!

I love the choice. Wedding aside, I am seeing in your videos more appreciation for unique, smaller design studio pieces now, than when you started growing your channel. That is kinda my vibe too, once I had a couple of the bucket list fashion house items. I really enjoyed hearing about the studio, along with unboxing the piece. The blue-ish and turquoise green glass are very ethereal, but require more of a coordinating design committment early on. The gold offers more flexibility later to change other aspects of your looks on this day rather than locking you in. 🧚‍♂️

Please get a bridesmaid or wedding planner to bring a safe box to put it in so you dont accidentally damage it whilst dancing the night away. 😂 If you dont want to use this bag again (I know you will) after the wedding it's so beautiful you can put it in a glass case next to your wedding flowers in resin or something.

Cute little keepsake bag. It's small enough for you to always keep and even display to remember your wedding day. Plus, it can be moved around in different areas of your future residence to display like when one moves other types of artwork around. As for wedding bags, I remember from over a decade ago, when an acquaintance was looking for a wedding bag and one day a group of us walked down to Chanel at Saks in Beverly Hills. We were in a handbag club and used to lunch once a month and discuss handbags. We'd eat and then walk to Fashionphile and other stores in B.H. While at Chanel inside of Saks, that member decided on a the small camelia-embossed leather Chanel bag (no strap) in a faint pink color. Stunning. And it was a bag that she could continue to use long after the wedding as it was perfect as a small evening bag. I think she was more focused on the bag than the dress. Greetings from Los Angeles

Hey Cassie, perhaps you can do a video on all your wedding stuff, (i love to watch), yes i get you is none of this stuff is a must in a wedding be it a dress or handbag but i think many does it as a memory to remember in years to come and wedding to pass on, err....my mom did not do that either, think she rented hers.
