@tokyorick79 he has a R 1250 GS Adventure - So thrilled to see more Adventure Bikes! Once you ride an Adventure Bike sport bikes seem pointless (to me). I have way more fun on my 2022 40th Anniversary R 1250 GS than I did on my ZX10R. Race bikes are 1 trick ponies, Go fast STOP. Adventure bikes are so much more advanced. Why do you think BMW put Bluetooth and Navigation on the S100RR. If a sport bike was a car, it would be a Corvette. That Multistrada V4 RS would be a "BMW X5M" Luxury and POWER! Adventure bikes are the present and future of motorcycling. Congratulations 650ib - BMW Still wins for pure luxury and that's why I picked the GS over the Multistrada. Both great bikes.

If you could only have 1 bike to do everything really well, it has to be this one. Absolutely beautiful as well, we're in the golden age of Ducati for sure, on and off the track.

That is a beaut!!..I love the nice touches such as frost paintwork and aluminium subframe..very good choice man.

I’m going to assume the carbon guard is for off-road and the clear is for the road. The reason being is that the carbon guard will last longer against tree branches and rocks striking it.

The RS is not meant for off-road use considering the 17 inch front wheel and tyre choice, just as the pikes peak. The front screen is just a matter of personal preference and taste.

Sure it is, it’s not meant for rough off-road use like you’re thinking of. 17” dirt tires are limited but available. Michelin Anakee Adventure and Shinko make a tire. Tell me again it’s not meant for off-road. 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@RadDadisRad You should get the v4, v4s or enduro for off-road use which carry the 19 inch front wheel and have “enduro” modus, the rs and pikes peak don’t as they are meant for tarmac (road and track use).

@@sandorbergsma i would get the pikes peak if I got any of them. I’m looking at it as a comparison to a BMW GS. I want something to tour with that will also do light gravel.

Congrats on multi!! I ride Multi as well, 1260s and have clear screen. Excellent wind protection good visibility on the long rides!

My family and friends are all on Ducati's. I ride a modded Z H2 but my brother has a 1260s Multi, my nephew has a 2020 Streetfighter, a female friend has a 2019 Panigali Corsa v4, other friend has a 2020 V4R and a Multi V4, and another friend has a 2020 Streetfighter S. I like these new Multi's but I don't understand why they are putting a dry clutch (which only last 3k-5k miles before they have to be replaced on a bike designed for long distance touring.

@@Waldo1122 They are beyond reliable. The dry clutch is a fantastic idea for a track bike as they are super easy to change out without having to drain the oil and screw with the clutch basket covers. They, however, are not a good idea on a bike meant for long highway rides.

Like the paint and love the dry clutch sound. Other advantage with dry clutch is your not contaminating the engine oil with wear from clutch disk fibers of conventional wet oil systems.

Nice bike. Ive been riding sport bike for 10 years or so. 2024 i have a Triumph Tiger Rally Explorer coming my way. Couldnt be happier with it! What a machine. These bigger super touring adventure machines have really grown on me and i now respect them much more than any super bike for road use. They just cant be beat.

Awesome stuff Ib although I must say that the RS actually has 180hp and not the 215,5 as the panigale or even the 208 on the streetfighter. Although a tune and exhaust will probably get it into the the 200 range after all its the same engine ;)

I would be surprised if it makes more than 180 at the wheel after a remap and a full exhaust system and a performance air filter. Will be interesting to see how it behaves at higher speedw,because even the new m1000r which has sportbike travel suspension gets wobbly on the front end.The M XR is at 138 mm. This has 170 suspension,probably will be needed to get a steering damper to enjoy it.

My bmw c400gt scooter . Has similar goodies like this bike . So crazy to me I have heated seats for passengers as well & my seat . Bluetooth , gps head up display. Heated grips & I only have 350cc

Yes, I will compare the soon but yes, the RS is worth the additional cost over the Pikes Peak. The RS engine, titanium sub frame and lots of standard carbon fiber parts make it worth it. It's also a numbered bike with and amazing colorway. It's also more exclusive and rare than the Pikes Peak.

Ducati- please please please bring back the race yellow paint.

Example RS buyer... Different strokes for Different folks. I happen to be an "old" rider ( I'm 75) but that doesn't mean I don't like performance even though I don't put lots of miles on a Multistrada. I've owned a 1200S and now have 1260S but have an RS "on order". Sure it's a lot of coin but when you're retired , what else are you going to do but enjoy life and your money? I also have a S1000XR and a K1600GTL so I pick the bike to ride based upon what I want to do that day.

@@650ib I am not retired.Nor am I 75. But I am a customer at Cleveland Ducati. We were in the show room once together. You took the old manager for a ride in your car. I also was in a COTA MotoGP video you did. You were panning through the bikes waiting to go on the parade ride. Maybe 2019?

@@theperipateticgumshoe9047 great question Bro. The clutch will start 'slipping' which is making a high rev noise but the bike won't accelerate. That's when u know the dry clutch needs replacement.
