The great number of heads is surely the best part of this box, there are also a lot of weapons ' options, surely these will be useful if happen to have spare bodies.

Your right, so many options not enough torsos lol. They do work really well with other frostgrave box sets.

That's my count as well. Twelve unique extra heads in a box that only builds ten figs is a lot, rivalled only by the two wizards kits.

Certainly is alot of head, plenty of options. They scale well with oathmark as well so could be used to mix up your units in those games.

Game really needs a piece of equipment to represent that chicken. Maybe have it be an item that any model can carry, use an action once per game to put a "bait" token down anywhere within 6" and line of sight. Uncontrolled creatures with the Animal trait treat bait tokens as though they were part of a warband, causing them to move toward one if it's closest. If they start their activation in contact with one they do nothing that turn and the bait token is removed, having been eaten.

I could by used to lure beasts from Felsted, it could be enchanted to enable you to control the beast...... the possibilities are definitely there!

I am a huge fan of the Wizards and barbarians, sadly I was disappointed with the heads of this set. There are only 2 that I really like.

That is a shame, the heads do swap between sets, so hopefully you will be able to male something you like.

Arrgh, no view of the back side of the sprue. I know the faces are the main draw here but seeing what the back of the bodies and shields look like would be helpful, particularly the shields. Do they have wood detailing? Grips to make them easier to stick the arms to?

Your right, I have completely missed the back of the sprue. I can confirm wooden detail on the back of the shields. I'll try not to make this mistake again. Thanks for pointing it out :)

I’ve bought at least 2, in some cases 3 or 4 of all the Frostgrave box sets; with the exception of the knights, most limited set they’ve released. They don’t fit well with the rest of the range, and the poses are very stilted

I haven't made any knights as of yet, so I wouldn't like to say. The box did feel smaller then the others from the range. I also think this is one of the older kits, and they I have learnt alot from then.

@@blackdicegamingltd strangely not, they’re one of their most recent kits - I think they’ve changed sculptors as the style is more “cartoony”, like the female barbarians.

As far as I know knights didn’t use ranged weapons

I think your probably right, but in frostgrave they are able to carry whatever you want to give them.
