CA72TP04 1/72 F-14A Red Eagle Wingman is a die-cast static scale model inspired from the Naval Fighter Weapons School, Miramar, 1986.
Features
- 2 unique pilot figures with helmet deco
- canopy in open/close position
- landing gear in deployed (gear down) or "retracted" (gear up) in flight position via interchangeable cartridge parts
- variable sweep wings
- speed brakes in close/open positions
- interchangeable engine nozzles
- metal (brass) pitot tube
- special camera underbelly unit
- 2 glove vane pylons with 2 AIM-7 Sparrow & 2 AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles
- deployable glove vanes

I just got this one number 345 and I’m impressed with detail and overall quality. Nice work. Growing up in San Diego I saw lots of tomcats at Miramar and this totally takes me back to my childhood. Can’t wait for top gun 2 Would be cool to see them work a Tom Cat In the movie somewhere.

Will you be adding the F-18 Hornet from the movie Top Gun Maverick in the future? The one with the blue and black painting/graphics at the bottom of the canopy?

We do not have the F-18 tooling in our inventory
where can i get stand base? mine didnt come with it
How do you get the kneeling nose wheel? Mine didn't come with it

The mass production of this model does not come with this wheel. You can use CA72TP03 Lightning Fist to swap out the front nose wheel if you want the kneeling version, they are interchangeable.
Will this model or the CA72TP02 Ghostrider be in higher demand?
