I bought a leather ring years ago. The stones were exquisite and very cheap; volcano quartz, (clear and orange-red). Do you know anything about volcano quartz? 🎃👻🧛♂️🦄💕
"A Closer Look" gets a whole new meaning now that KZread features the new "pinch/zoom" capability! Absolutely stunning! God, I love this channel! Opal is probably my favorite gemstone and I wish there was more men's jewelry featuring it.

Those opals are amazing! 😍 I can't even imagine how much work, time, stress, and love went into each one from the time they were mined to now, when we can see them in their finished form!
Too pretty! It is a wonder how much sweat and pain and adventure it takes to find these elusive gems in their hidden places, and then polish them with so much care and then let everyone enjoy their beauty. Love your shows!
I have a black opal pendant that's been passed down into my family for almost 100 years. It's my favorite piece and I treasure it. Opals are my favorite stone

Wow! Stones are one of the few things that give me joy in life! ☺
Wow! Thank you Michelle, for coming on and sharing that wonderful black opal and all the colors of opal! Opal is unmatched in its beauty and fire, and the pieces she brought are exceptional.
The closer look piece was my favorite, too! And the 2nd one shown was my 2nd favorite 🥰
I love opal, such a precious stone
Stunning gems!! I love cutting opal, I would love to cut a gem of this quality!!👍😁
Wonderful, Lightning Ridge black opals are simply magical. Thank you Michelle for showing us lots of beauties. My favourites are the pure blue and the blue/green ones, even though they are less expensive than ones featuring orange and red, the limited colour palette appeals to me and it reminds me of the sea. Yes I would love to see diferent kinds of opals featured on this channel!
That large red flagstone piece, simply stunning. Can't believe they didn't have a cloth on the table, one accidental drop could cost a lot of money.
My favorite stone of ALL TIME. LIGHTNING RIDGE OPAL IS #1 but price I get lost. And yes We all have Oops pieces. Thank you & Dan for digging & sharing
Woah, Beautiful. And Michelle was wonderful. Hope she's back soon!
I love Australian opal. I’m subscribed to the lovely BlackOpalDirect to get my Aussie opal fix.
What beautiful stones! Thank you Michelle for sharing them with us.
Thank you so much Michelle and happy hunting. Good luck!!
WOW! She sure brought some treasures with her today!
Thank you Michelle! Incredible gemstones!!
Absolutely amazing! My dad and I are getting ready to get into opal cabochon making and eventually into faceting other material if everything goes well later down the line. A fun video idea would be tips on choosing rough material and taking that to a finished stage. You guys are so fun to watch and I've learned so much from these videos, keep up the strong work!

@@ThatOpalGuy I appreciate the recommendation! Those guys are awesome! I'm trying to keep up with them and Pulitzer Opal. Those guys are a hoot. With opal we'd stick with making cabochons. Faceting opal isn't my favorite style for the stone.
Thanks for sharing. It blows my mind still that opal can form from 7,000 to 120 millions years ago. ❤
Immediate click. Each frame is a "graded price per ct", from my eye (when you have a few you can category to quality), and parcels sell as a whole, not single stones chosen out of as a rule wholesale & choose retail . You buy a pour at wholesale, you can pick at retail. Black Opal is why I moved to Nevada to mine.
Really Appreciate The Guests You Invite & Admire The Efforts You Put For These Amazing Unique Experiences
Wow, nice stones, great work Michelle
Wow! Absolutely beautiful. Thank you. 😀

Thank you Michelle & Rebecca, this was so much fun! I love opals♥ I have some synthetic beads & am working on cutting & polishing 8 black opals atm. These pieces are amazing, wonderful work :]
Thank you for a segment on Opals: Michelle has a dream marraige/job! Opals have been my favorite stone since childhood, and Lightening Ridge Opals are the bomb diggity! So much color, so much variety. Someday I will own one for sure!❤
We love opals. Yes we would love to see more types and any problems with them, like crazing. Thanks for sharing your stones and time with us. 😷⚒ Happy Halloween! 👻🎃🧟♀️☠👹
Thank you for video with magical Black opals :))
How challenging is it to cut and polish sapphire and topaz without diamond?
Black opals are the most beautiful gems
I love the color play in the opals. I have a large white opal ring, that has a lot of color, but it's not very noticeable. My favorite opal ring is a smaller black opal with blue and green colors flashing. It's set with a black enamel setting. It's My daughter's favorite too and she's waiting for it. 😊🥰
I love all the lightening ridge crew……….very cool (gal from oz)
Thanks. Very beautiful.

Fyi those cuts that make you sick... best learning opportunities. Mess up an expensive stone and you go over what went wrong a few times...
Quilpie boulder matrix opal is prettier. I'll fight anyone who disagrees
Hello my cousin Matthew what you doing I need to hook up with you so we can go home and take me home
7:03 that piece is worth like 5 bucks lmao it's nothing but sand ingression. you can spend days and cut 2 or 3 tiny half karat pieces out of it but the amount of work would exceed the price of the gems in the end
Love opals. Don't do dishes with an opal ring on.

Australian opal is fine in water. Ethiopian opal takes on water.
@ResortDog

@@joeporter4970 Still, EVERY dealer will tell you to keep it clean and never ultrasonically clean one. As I wear a opal in wood pendent for over 20 years every where & under everything my body has been, Digging to hot springing to sub zero outside temps. Not a new crack. The majority of Australian Opal is fine and the volcanic opal can be just as good and even more shock resistant, as in the dropping from 6 foot test, BUT not every stone is the same as opal is individually formed. Some are more bullet proof but all the good dealers will replace the rare stones that break on their own because crazy is all that opal does on its own, impact is on you.
Michelle’s life is dedicated to Opal and yet she comes on this channel wearing diamond ear rings. Debeers who have a monopoly on the very common diamond market tried everything they could to destroy the Opal industry. They knew that diamonds are so common as to have no real value and the only way to keep the suckers buying them was to quash competition from rarer gems with superior colour, real rarity and true value. They spread rumour about Opals being bad luck by commissioning books from popular authors, they bought Opal mines in Hungary ( The main supplier at the time ) and closed them down. Why would you ware a clear piece of glass like rock when you could ware a one of a kind piece of unique jem stone glistening with a one of a kind pattern and dazzling colour ?
this guest scares me,i dont know why she looks like a mom that will hit you so bad,by the way im 30.
