Those are nice Grinders. I have a 3/4 HP Cabelas Carnivore. I've been processing my own Sausage, for years. 1 tip mentioned, in a comment, about half frozen meat, is definitely correct. I personally, put all my grinder parts, in the freezer, for a couple of hours. I normally grind 50 or so lbs at a time. Something else, that will help, is, putting your seasonings, into the meat, BEFORE you grind. That way, the grinder, will mix it for you.

I'm sure, as the old saying goes, you'll find...there are those times, when life's a grind! It looks like you found the 'indoor solution' to making your own sausage! Great video! 🐖🍳🤪

If you havent yet, use half frozen meat when running it through the grinder. I think you will notice a big difference for the better. Cheers

When you were running the grinder I was hearing a high-pitched squealing sound - was that actually coming from the grinder and if so has that gone away after some use?

Yes, it's coming from the grinder. I opened up the cover to see if something was just rubbing that could be adjusted, but it's in the motor itself. It has not gone away, but we haven't put 2 hours runtime on it yet. Not sure if it will loosen up with time or not. Hope that helps.

That noise was coming from the auger grinding and shaving metal because you didn’t put the gasket on the auger. I followed your video and got metal shavings in 60lbs of meat. You should remake this video or take it down immediately so nobody else follows your inability to follow directions

That white safety gaurd in the feeder pan needs to go away. Is it removable?

For safety purposes the guard should remain in place... but I can tell you that for "cleaning" purposes (wink) a small flathead screwdriver will remove the threaded pins (one on each side) and the plastic guard comes right off.
