How big is your garage, how hot is it in your garage? Does it keep you cool in very hot temps. Thank you for sharing but definitely would like to know if you recommend this fan after Time having it. Great video

Hello! It's a 3 car garage. Pretty good size. The fan is a BEAST and can Def cool you down but if it's 100 degrees it will blast u with high flowing 100 degree air. It still feels nice even from a good distance away. I'm always using it but I Def want a ductless ac unit so the fan can blast me with cold air lol.

@D3RPZILLA how did your air test go. Someone a year ago asked you if you could do a comparison test to see how it does with CFM compared to your larger floor fan you have. I would love to find out how it does with the amount of air movement.

Heya! Thanks for reminding me. I looked into what I needed to get a solid accurate test and never followed up, lol, oops. I just now went and bought an air flow meter from Amazon (gets here in a few days) and I will do some testing this week :D I did just mount the Vyper fan to my wall a few weeks ago as well to get the big stand up and out of the way.

I love it especially now that it's up and out of the way, lol. The big stand it has kind of made it awkward to move around.. would be nice if it had wheels or something to wheel it around into place, but, it's solid and great once you have it positioned somewhere you don't plan to move around a lot. Now it's on my wall I just turn it on and let it run. Puts out a lot of air flow and isn't crazy loud which is a nice combo. Only issue right now is it kind of squeaks a little when the rotation mode is enabled. It wasn't squeaking at all when on the stand and level but maybe as it leans forward in the wall mount it does a little. I'll grease it and see if that helps. Also the wall mount I think could be improved it they made it wide enough to cover 2 typical distance wall studs as with how it is currently you can only screw it into 1 wall stud with 2 of the screws and then 2 into just drywall with a drywall anchor.

@@D3RPZILLA all that makes sense. Yea I wish people could make better choices for wall mounts designs. Also I think they should offer the tripod design so you can fold it up when not in use. Wheels would be smart like you say as well.

Hi, first off thanks for the video! Question, they claim 23,500 cfm out this fan. Would you maybe compare that to your barrel fan? For example if your barrel fan is rated for 6000 cfm does it feel like the vyper fan is pushing out more air? 23,500 cfm is a lot of air movement for a fan that is that small. Frankly I find it hard to believe because I have a 30" air king fan and it only puts out 7400 cfm @ 255 watts. P.S. the background music was not annoying but it most certainly was not required. Sometimes less is more especially if you are trying to tell how loud something is.

Thanks for the comment! :) I will have to see what I can test with the 2 fans but I can for sure say the Vyper fan sure feels like it's pumping out a lot more air. The motor on the Vyper is MASSIVE compared to the barrel fan motor... probably 4x the size, lol. I'd like to test with something like an anemometer but can't find a decent one that can test over 20k cfm at a reasonable price, lol.

@@D3RPZILLA Thanks for the reply! Been debating on buying it. You could always buy a hillbilly anemometer... it is a heavy canvas tarp on a shower curtain rod. If the tarp is vertical it does not blow hard... if it is horizontal however lol

Is it marked where it is made? On the Vyper website, they brag how their chairs are 100 percent made in the USA, so I ordered one. With all the accessories, the chair cost over $800, but with the quality and made in the USA, it was worth it. There is no such bragging where the fan is made on their website, so it makes me suspicious that it might be made in China. I would think that for $450, it could also be made in the USA. Was hoping you could confirm that it is. Thanks.

Thanks for the question! I do NOT see any made in the USA type markings on the fan that I can see. I do not recall what was on or in the packaging. There are 2 main labels on the fan on the motor unit. 1 of the labels says, "24" Industrial Fan, Model: F-24-Hall, Input: AC1110-220v-60hz-200W, Type: 030040180M8, Ser. No: xxxxxxxxx, VYPER ENGINEERING", and the other label says, "Patent Number: Taiwan M439948, China ZL201220324010.7, U.S.A US 8,836,188, Germany Nr. 202013001151.3". Perhaps @vyperindustrial would be able to answer exactly the source and manufacturing origin of everything :) I did find a 2 or so year old video of what is maybe a prototype of the fan on a KZread page for Vyper Motors, kzread.info/dash/bejne/mp1kj7KSlKWqkc4.html. This then led me to their VYPER MOTORS Facebook page which shows off a number of fan motors and other things, facebook.com/vypermotors/. They do show an early Turbo Fan design plus a number of other types of motors and most posts DO show various hashtags such as #americanmade and such. Hope that helps!

How loud is it at 20% power compared to a living room floor fan on the middle setting? I'm looking for an overbuilt fan for my apartment during the summer, but don't want it to be too loud if I'm working at my desk near it.
