    That plate/bowl combo looks really useful to have, and the measurements are a really nice touch, it would also be great if they had different "themes" to them, like ones with first aid and survival tips, ones with camping tips like how long to boil water or how far away to make camping/sleeping site from latrine and cooking sites, etc.

    GGG includes the toothbrush as a freebie when they ship your order. Also, I used the nyloflume pack liner for about 10 overnight trips last year. It was really crinkly and loud for the first 1-2 trips, but got better as time went on.

  • @emmanuelhpun

    @emmanuelhpun

    Жыл бұрын

    @@pm_davidjones I like that idea of breaking in the nyloflume before using it. Probably crumpling or twisting it up repeatedly would achieve a similar effect. I guess hiking with it for a few days in my pack accomplished the same thing. To add, I know some people have had bad experiences with nyloflume liners, like breaking or the crinkly cellophane noise. But it's worked for me. Super light, waterproof (kept my sleep gear dry when a water bladder leaked in my pack), cheap and has held up. I got the 2-pack from GGG and still have the other one unused.

Very interested to see how your gear changes as you start doing your own channel now! The Webo Fanny Pack is made of X-pac (or EPX200) and I highly recommend it (especially in the PNW). It's not as light as dynema or ultra fabric, but it's very rugged and mostly waterproof. I would love to see what you think of the Atom Packs Mo as a backpack in the future. I was wondering if I could use the same type of cozy with a bowl like that as a liner on the inside instead. Do you think that would work? I would love to have that Apex jacket! It looks so cozy! Btw, the best backpacking toothbrush ever is the Meijer branded travel toothbrushes. Basically the case inserts into the brush part and becomes the handle. When you're done, simply disconnect the handle and it slides over the brush part, becoming its case. Genius!!

    Thanks for introducing me to Garage Grown! I'll definitely be looking to gain some upgrades through them. I'd love to add the Alpha Cruiser to my layering system and the pouches to replace my ziploc bags! I'm a big fan of what you're doing with the channel now. I hope it continues to grow and that you're able to enjoy it!

As a photographer, I am always looking on better ways to protect and organize my smaller gear items as well! Thanks to you for always delivering amazing and helpful content!

    Hey Miranda!!!! Our 4 year old looks forward to your videos as much as we do! He calls you the "funny hiking girl"! My husband and I almost spit our drinks out at The Office reference! Thanks for all the fun and laughs, but also knowledge you have given us as a family! We have gone on a bunch of different backpacking trips that we would have never felt comfortable enough trying, without you. - The Busch Family ❤ P.S. - where can we find the link to the NEMO hat in the background?? P.S.S. Almost forgot - - - - that fold-a-bowl = AWESOME 🤙

    That bowl is genius!!! Honestly it's not even so much the weight for me, it's just that cups and bowls take up such rigid space that even if you put other things inside them, there's bound to still be wasted space/limited ways you can pack them.
