Angela I have watched your channel for years and seen the growth from sewing tutus to now. You have always been helpful and transparent to help others grow their business, helping them avoid the hard lessons YOU learned. You are able to do this through trial and error to make it this far. Businesses who have survived and succeeded do so by learning, adjusting, pivoting, and taking more calculated risks. Business is always some level of risk. So, please don’t start second guessing yourself and letting other’s negativity feed it. You’re doing the work, taking the risks, exploring making your dreams come through every day and not just talking and planning with no execution. Continue to do you, be you, and do it unapologetically. You got this. You’ve always had this.

You can still make educated decisions based on other people's inputs. Just doing what we want to do isn't always what's best. I haven't seen anything I would say is negative.

Ignore the people who judge you by what you buy. You work hard and deserve your favorite drink. I wish someone would have told me it was OK to treat myself. I am just figuring that out

It is sewing quilting, crocheting that sort of thing, I am so happy for you because every time I see your channel you are always trying to uplift doing a thing for your community so they won’t go into the wrong thing in your industry. Hi. I noticed that you said you have a small business making quilts. I have a quilting related question. I have bought a weighted blanket and received another as a gift. Both have glass beads and it is recommended that they not be machine washed. I have wondered couldn't a weighted blanket be made with a quilt using batting instead of glass beads? That way it could be machine washed. My thinking is if someone wanted a 20, 30, 40 or 50 lbs weighted blanket then you could weigh the amount that the batting and all materials on a scale and then proceed to make the quilt. But I've never made a quilt before. I'm open to learning how to do so though.

If you put in the search bar, how to make a weighted blanket you will get tons of videos, talking and doing the same thing that you would like to do and a lot of them are step-by-step, I hope you give it a try. Take your time and do it.

I used to feel really intimidated about making quilts. But I'm just gonna make one. It may be a really good learning experience.

With school starting just around the corner the kids will need their uniform tops embroidered. Sign up or bid for contracts to work with your local schools embroidering school logos on their shirts.

Even IF you are running low on funds.. that doesn't mean you shouldn't get some coffee. Whoever said that should go kick rocks and re-evaluate their life and also they need to just stfu.

I’ve made that mistake before. I know you want to be prepared but try it and see if it makes a difference. Remember you’re a small business providing specialty, hand made items with limited funding. You are correct even Walmarts are experiencing hiccups- closing stores across the U.S.- rather or not the government states it- we are in a recession and small businesses need to pivot and even pause sometimes-but I understood that this inventory was ordered months ago- but even then Angela had to see some signs of declining orders- all in all I wish her the best!🎉🎉🎉🎉

​​We're literally not in a recession and it's ridiculous to state so. I've lived through my fair share of them. We're having record stock market highs. That doesn't happen in a recession. We have record low unemployment. That doesn't happen during a recession. Our inflation is at 3.3% which is good. Restaurants are full, hotels are full, and on and on. Even when the economy is the best it's ever been, some businesses will not do well. Instead of blaming everything on a nonexist problem which only scapegoats personal responsibility and undermines personal agency, analyze and address the issues. She told us what the issue was in another business. It's not the economy, it's the choices she made along with natural market trends. Walmart is the largest private employer in America. They're constantly opening and closing stores. That's how a business that size works. If I have a shop in 10k cities, it's likely at least one of them won't be doing well this year. The overall embroidery market is slated for a 4% increase in revenue, which might not seem like much, but that's actually a very high number. She's in a 10k square feet warehouse that's extremely expensive and way too large. To say she "over bought inventory," would be the understatement of the millennia. And we are now seeing she's purchased an insane amount of new inventory without having even tested the product. I don't know the specifics, but it looks like she just did what she told us the problem was a week ago. It seems she's a compulsive shopper bordering on hoarding at this point. She has 15k in tumblers just sitting there. She's a smart woman and I hope she pulls through but you scapegoating her decisions onto the economy is ridiculous with the facts we have. No disrespect. It's time to focus on our own decisions. When you say "it's the economy," it makes it seem as if it's something out of our control and leads to people throwing their hands up.

I think people want her to because she was just crying on a couple videos saying how broke she is and can't afford her warehouse then immediately after shows product from 2 and 3 years ago that never was used. And now making a video about a $90k shipment or whatever is was. Just weird. But yeah that's probably why people feel that. Cause after she cried a lot of people ordered. Most likely pity orders.

Honestly from the outside it looks like you are just trying to grow too fast with no target.. all sales have slowed but you don’t seem to be prepared.. I’d suggest strongly you delegate responsibility that isn’t your strong suit and focus on what you can do to maintain.. stop worrying about growth when you can’t handle what’s on your plate now.. look into taking some business management classes or try and find a mentor who can help you stay on track..

I am just wondering why you have decided to launch a new product? Did you test market them first? Most if not all businesses, large and small scale back once they realize they are in financial trouble in order to create stability. They don’t go and buy more hoping this new product will be the one to push them out of the red. You have people in the comments agreeing with every move you make because they “like you” and have no idea how to run a business or turn one around. I like you too but if i told a long time ago this would happen you would have deleted my comment or ignored because you did before when i advised you to stop selling products with Disney images and the only reason you did was because disney started going after Etsy sellers. Someone needs to pray for your “extreme constant pain with no explanation” , probably SPIRITUAL, especially considering additionally unexplained financial hardship. GET SOMEONE to pray Isaiah 53 over your, your husband can do it if he is a believer. He just needs to say to the pain to “leave NOW in Jesus name” until it leaves, could be 10 minutes, could be an hour, but he needs to EXERCISE AUTHORITY JESUS GAVE US TO “drive out impure spirits”. Husband wants to know how to heal you????? the same way you tell your child “get out of there” , same way; “ PAIN, leave now in Jesus name” . Seen it and done it many times, he can do it.
