I have a TRIUMPH TIGER900 GT PRO motorcycle. The original MY-TRIUMPH onboard turn-by-turn navigation system is in my opinion a failure. It does not have map navigation. Often it takes several hundred metres or kilometres of riding before the system re-calculates a new route based on where I have ridden, & strayed from the route planned by the navigation system. I have also found the turn-by-turn text information ambiguous, & taken the wrong turn several times. I felt continuing to use the MY-TRIUMPH application would be a safety-issue for me, so I had to look for a better solution.
Hence, I bought the BELESH KARADAR MT5003 ANDROID-AUTO-CARPLAY device which includes front and rear analog-high-definition (AHD) 1080P video-cameras; and built-in Digital Video Recorder.
I made 3 videos with detailed step-by-step details on:
a) replacement of the TRIUMPH windscreen adjustment bracket, with a third-party mounting-bar to hold my MT5003 ANDROID-AUTO-CARPLAY device ( • step-by-step install A... );

The BELESH MT5004 model was released in October 2023, & it replaces the MT5003 model. It seems to me the difference between the MT5004 and MT5003, is that the MT5003 has 3 connection-cables (i.e. 1 for power, 2 for the 2 video cameras). This means that when temporarily removing the device from the motorcycle, it is necessary to disconnect 3 cables. With the MT5004, there is only 1 connection-cable which consolidates all the pinouts for the power and video cables. This does mean that there is a 3-into-1 adapter-cable that remains with the motorcycle - when removing the device.
I can see the intention of the manufacturer is to minimise the number of cables to disconnect/reconnect when removing/remounting the device on the motorcycle. However, I don't see a big benefit. Furthermore, this means a thief can easily remove the 3-inot-1 adapter-cable.
