Is that MLF lockset the replacement for the Falcon MA series you ran into with the broken skinny bolt that holds the spindle halfs together? I no sooner watched that video a couple weeks back and have been jinxed since. I've had three of those repairs since you posted that video. One thing I've done as a temp fix is to stick a medium to long spring in the Falcon handle to keep the spindle shafts pressed into the mortise lock. It's almost a final fix for some...and that screw/bolt won't break again. Always enjoy watching your vids Jason.

yes the spring behind the spindle is the good enough fix for those, probably permanently My other issue on that one (and their design in general) was the exposed spring with clip on the handles was kinda buggered up and I didn’t have faith in its longevity You could definitely use one of these for replacement
