First time RV owner. My toilet got clogged, I saw this video. I went to Lowe's and bought the flexible tube. Shut my water off and bam! All clear! Thank you so much!

Genius here, I am miles from a hardware store but have a Walmart right down the street. I bought a $6 hula hoop and cut it in half. I used the bisected hula hoop to attack the turd my daughter launched down the drain. After some dookie swashbuckling, the big brown egg broke up and went on it’s way. Pro tip: if you lay Dino eggs, stinky mega corn nuggets, or have turds that come out sideways, squirt a little dish soap first to lube the tube down Nomsayin?

I tried the other methods. No joy. Went to Home Depot and bought a bendy blue pipe, got back to the RV, and just like you said - 30 seconds later - I was clog free. I was about to give up and call a service man. Thank you for saving me $300.

Come on man, sometimes it takes some common sensezl this happened to me, I went to ace and bought there extendable handle sticks, took it home and shoved it down my toilet lmao, never had to watch a video to think that one out, it's a sraight shotntonthe tank it was only common sense

Thanks. True enough, it worked in under 30 seconds. We were on day 5 at a park in the middle of nowhere when our fifth wheel toilet refused to flush. Luckily, we keep some some pex pipe for emergency plumbing repairs, and it worked like a charm. Thank you for the video.

We are new to RV life. We tried pouring the hot water method and did not work. I ran into this video and tried the method so we can avoid spending $$$ to call the plumber. It really worked for us, and it ONLY cost us less than $5. Thank you for saving us a lot of $$$.

Thank you!!! I had emergency surgery and wasn't at home in my RV for nearly 3 months. I'm not sure what happened...Perhaps just the dry heat and a lack of water flowing, but that sucker clogged up. I couldn't get anything to work. My only added advice -- use a FIVE foot PEX pipe, not 4. LOL. Also, I suggest a red pipe just for safety so you can save that bit of pip for future sewage/black tank uses and the color won't have anyone reaching to use it. That and taking a sharpie marker to it and labeling it for black tank use only. Hopefully, I won't need it again, but I'm totally keeping it around just in case.

@@nobertinasimmons3295 it’s standard water pipe or some people even go and buy a hula hoop and use that. Just keep steady pressure on it and keep turning and it’ll work all the best from CRV.

Terrific video. I've snake a lot of toilets and waste lines (in buildings) but never on a boat. I got a cheap piece of very flexible garden hose. Your method worked really well. I went all the way to the end of my 4' hose piece without clearing the problem, so I suspect the blockage is near the vacuum tank assembly - so I'll take those apart and work from there (or get a longer hose.) Twisting it around and around works for snaking anything - I've just never tried with a hose that big.

THANK YOU! new to the camper living and worked like a charm!

I tried and tried to unclog my toilet. I flushed the black tank and I could see it was totally empty. I shopvac the toilet, but it was still plugged. I snaked with handheld and ridgid electrical and still nothing! I found a piece of this same blue pipe on my water well drain, so I used this, 6ft section. I was able to shove all way into tank, pulled out and still plugged! I pushed all way in and blew through the tube, it was free...then I pulled it out a little until the hose wouldn't let air through, that's when I found the plug! I jammed it in quite a few times and damn, it was hard stuff in there. Then after about 10 shoves, I felt a thud in the tank, water went away and toilet was unclogged!!! Yea! Now I flushed the tank and it works flawlessly. 1 recommendation, turn off city water, then when running water to rinse now empty toilet, use water in tank so you don't have to go back and forth turning on and off the water. When it's unplugged and rinced, then go back to city water. Again, THANK YOU!!!!❤

But what do you do with the poop stick now that it has poop and piss all over it and even inside of it how do you cope with cleaning all that off that stick and how do you keep from getting the stinky mixture on the floor in the camper Etc?

Yes you open the gate and get a piece of plastic pipe half inch two 3/4 of an inch diameter. Water pipe is perfect not hose pipe. It needs to be very stiff. Some people use a hula hoop cut it in half and put that down.

I can't get mine to go in like that it hits bottom of tank and does not go into a u bend or nothing.

Hi Micheal, there is a new band. You have to keep quite a bit of pressure on the pipe and twist it and it will go. There is a longer version of the video on a channel which explains it a bit better. Hope you get it fixed. Regards Paul

The only works if the pipe from the bottom of the toilet into the tank is blocked have a look on our channel. There are some other videos on Toilet blocking problems all the best Paul.

Blue plastic pipe used for water, not too rigid and not too soft. Keep pushing it down and turn in at the same time and it will go to the tank and clear it for you. Regards Paul please subscribe to the channel and press the like button out

Inch water pipe. If you’re in the UK, it’s called alkyne pipe. Some people have cut a hula hoop in half but generally it’s 3/4 to inch plastic pipe hope that helps.

4 feet isn't long enough. Got to go buy another one.

Just half inch plastic pipe from the hardware store we have a lot of rental units here in the UK and they always block in the toilet and this is the way we unblock the toilet works every time

That technique worked really well judt like u said, in 30 seconds it was unclogged. But problem is it clogging up every 3 days now. And I'm having to keep repeating the process. What can I do to prevent it.

Hi Chris, it does work and it is one of the most simplest ways to unblock a toilet. If you look at our channel, there is a more in-depth video explaining this method more. Clearly you need to use a piece of pipe quite flexible. Check out the other video and give it another go. Regards Paul

@@CCRVUK I even went as far as shoving it all the way in and putting water pressure in the line and still nothing. I’m surviving off what small amount of drainage I have as far as liquids go and never using number 2. I look down into the tank and see water. I bought a cheap auger like device. We will see if it will help. It was a 20 foot cheap one from Walmart. Will update. I plan to use the pipe to align it with pipe and shoving the Walmart device through it.

@@chrismarese2462 hi Chris sounds like your problem is not down the toilet and at the outlet end I would suggest it is blocked thatout let end It’s a little bit more complicated to unblock from the exit and you have to go up the outlet pipe past the waste gate if you’re not super DIY, I’d suggest you ask someone on the campsite to give you a hand. Usually someone throwing wet wipes. Or a spoon old toothbrush, stuck across the exit pipe you would not believe what we found in some of these. tanks from our hire units. Let me know how you get on. I got a better way and it will work in 30 seconds fill your toilet with vinegar then sprinkle baking soda on top of the vinegar and watch it go down
