I don’t know why people are complaining. You got to watch two good fighters go at it and get multiple knockdowns and a TKO, all under 5 minutes, and you got to see it for free. But I guess most people would rather pay $80 to watch Mayweather play defense for an hour.

Lucky punch or good strategy, I reckon he was conserving energy to do exactly what he did, well done !!

One mistake led to a loss. The red guy was leading the fight and was going to win when he suddenly decided to rush his opponent and was knocked down immediately. He needs to work on his psychology.

Main difference is that Sambo is much older... But to be serious there is no fence in Sambo and fence-specific technics and tactics (like Khabib`s signature tactic). Also headbutts are allowed in Sambo and probably something else but I can`t recall it...

The military used to use it as well just keep in mind military hand to hand is usually there to help u fend something off long enough to draw you primary or secondary arm to shoot the guy not to chop suey him

@@jesusiskingofkingsz I had a Russian friend some years ago and he did learn Sambo/Systema in the Russian army and he tried some techniques on me (I was untrained) and I got totally overpowered. I think being good or just relatively good at sambo make you able to defend yourself in the streets or at least have a decisive edge.

создается впечатление ,что Анатолий не уверен и пятится ,выходит за круг , Но после 3й минуты включается с размашистыми ударами и уже не в первый раз ловит Немкова, После твоего интервью пересмотрел Европу 2015 и еще несколько турниров . Появился вопрос - это тактика-вытянуть на себя ,заставить почувствовать соперника сильнейшим а потом наказать, после того как привыкнешь к скорости и манере его атак , или особенность характера когда требуется время чтобы настроиться на сильную атаку , собраться с мыслями? This is competition Sambo. Real Sambo is completely different in the same way that competition Judo, Karate, TKD, etc are just dancing about like a girl for 10 minutes.

Sambo is one of the most unforgiving combat sports I have ever worked against. No disrespect to these athletes or the promoters, but this isn't a good example for an outsider to observe although I think it was still a good match. They are savages. Relentless, constant pressure, wide varieties of skills, etc. I train Dutch kickboxing primarily as well as Muay thai and BJJ-this is not to highlight myself, but to address style confrontations- and believe me they put you to work. When you are in their gyms the pressure is so constant and the athletes are so disciplined and willing to go until they drop. Some examples from MMA who were Sambo fighters are Khabib, Andrei Arlovski, and Fedor.
