Wingsuit / BASE-jump athlete Alexander Polli does the never before done-a tactical flight through a narrow cave on a rugged mountainside. The flight starts with a jump from a hovering helicopter, Alexander reaches speeds of 250 km/h (155 mph) while following a precise trajectory leading to the cave opening, he then fully commits and flies directly through the narrow opening of the "Batman Cave!"
Shot in full HD, this extraordinary flight exceeds the level of commitment most fliers would ever consider-there can be no attempting, the only option is success!
The narrow cave, no wider than Alexander is tall, is located in Roca Foradada Mountains in Montserrat, Spain-a location that has inspired this professional Italian Norwegian athlete's flying dream his whole life. Alexander hopes his success will inspire others not only to 'climb over their mountains,' but to also fly right through them!

I'll never understand such comments. I'd rather die in my sleep when I'm 90, having done everything I wanted and survived everything the Universe threw at me. Then I can happily stick my middle finger up in triumph. I love sex and video games but don't want to die of a heart attack in the middle of a threesome with two hot women, or electrocuted by my Xbox One. I don't think that getting smeared against part of the landscape is any base jumper's wish, no matter how much they're enjoying their chosen activity.

While something like this is always dangerous, don't forget the precautions they took. Those test flights could likely let them get a sense of what wind and drafts were nearby and if it'd be enough to mess him up. Also, that target he flew through is smaller than the actual hole in the mountain. So if he was able to consistently hit the target dead on, that gave a little leeway for small mistakes on the real flight. Also for those asking, generally once they get near enough the ground they deploy a parachute for the actual landing.

I'd rather be Polli right now, living the life he did, than be someone on here saying 'what an idiot' who spends 40 hours a week staring at a PC screen or on the phone in an office cubicle. He lived for half as long as many, yet lived easily twice as good. Fly forever
