I love lightning, beautiful yet dangerous. The louder the thunder, the more happy I am. Here in The Netherlands, we barely have these kinds of lightningstorms... Hope we get some good thunder and lightning this summer 💪

I'm the same way. The louder, the better. Although not too loud since there has been some intances where lightning has struck very close to our house.

It's not hot air. The speed of sound is much slower than the speed of light. Thunder is the sound of lightening.

Sound levels are likely around 100-120 decibels which is enough to feel the shockwaves vibrate you with the closet strikes. I've seen some other videos with lightning and thunder, but the thunder was not at it's loudest form. But this video, oh man it is crazy loud. Shaking houses loud! The sound of thunder is so satisfying. Cool catch.

This is far and away the BEST thunderstorm video I have seen to date on the net or youtube. I love these types of storms, I listen to them to help me fall asleep. This storm must have been something else to experience live. Lots of what I call "windowshakers" in this storm. Made me jump in a few places lol. Keep posting more storms PLEASE!!

I think that you should have gone on the opposite side of the building because that appears to be where all the lightning strikes are occurring.

Tip #1: Buy and use a Tripod. Tip #2: Turn Autofocus off Tip #3: Don't use Zoom, especially with hand-held footage. Tip#4: Turn on your camera and don't touch it Otherwise, the event you are trying to capture is overwhelmed by camera movement as the camera movement becomes the event.

This thunderstorm is totally tropical. Absolutely awesome.

The amount of lighting is unreal

the rays are scary but if you stopped moving the camera it would be better.

wow, some lightning making shake the camera, and the flashes are intensely bright

The audio is awesome the visual aspect not so much.

I live in Largo, MD, so Ik the experience of a loud severe storm like this one (the constant cloud to ground lightning, extremely loud thunder, flash flooding, and the intense winds).😂😂😂😂 Every summer is like this for the DMV cuz of the heat and humidity, and the stationary fronts that sit around for so long.

@@dianefarley37 Right? I used to record my videos the same way as the person who owns this channel. I would go out into my backyard, completely uncovered, which was the most unsafe thing to do, and I would record the lightning and thunder while holding my phone with my hands. I then transitioned into putting my phone on a window or something similar. And now I use a tripod.

This is the first thunder video, were I got a little scared 😳

Storms in USA are deadly scary. Only scarier are thunderstorms in Australia. In Serbia we don't have that's thunderstorms but i remember when l lived in village Miljkovac near to city Niš ( Naisus ) South Serbia only than i had similar experiences because thunderstorms in that village was so strongly like almost thunderstorms in USA. I lived in the Midwest (Illinois, USA) and they’re even worse in southern USA (Alabama, Georgia, Florida)… I’ve seen videos on KZread of ones in Kuala Lumpur - YOU SHOULD LOOK THOSE UP!! 🤭😳😳😳😳. The lightning and thunder is the most intense thing I’ve ever seen..
