Ucapkan salam, doa ketika memasuki sebuah ruang. 🙏☺✨🌾🌾🌾🌾

I agree with “menundukkan” kepala semasa masuk ke dalam rumah di mana ciri-ciri yang sama diikuti dengan rumah orang India (Tamil) dengan konsep yang sama. Pintu depan kecil dan harus menundukkan kepala meninggalkan status atau ego dan be humble as you enter into the house with respect 🤗🧡💛

wow saya suka sekali sama penjelasannya. Jawa sebagai ajaran moralitas dan hampir mirip seperti buddhism agaknya memang benar adanya
Javanese house "joglo" are designed to be dismantle and reassembled..That's why old javanese house in a good condition usually have good offering from collectors who are willing to build them again in Jakarta.. But never I imagined it will traveled far to Malaysia..It'll cost a lot, but I guess it definitely worth it.. Nb: you need experts javanese craftman aka tukang to assembled it correctly, not every one can do it the right way.. So kudos for finding those craftmen..
Farah is definitely more Javanese than most of nowadays Javanese people in Indonesia. Actually the wood carvings that go inside a Javanese house are not just any carvings, they are coded and symbolized so that the owner really feels the home as a sanctuary that provides comfort and protection against the bad external influences. If you look more carefully that most of the time the main wood pillars of the house ("sokoguru") and the main roof ("tumpangsari") are protected further using gold needles that are installed inside them. These golden needles have been blessed through traditional rituals with aim to provide additional protection and comfort to the owner. I take my hate off to Farah for her courage to preserve the beautiful home. In syaa Allah the home will provide her with even more joyful experiences to Farrah and the family going forward in Malaysia!!

Not enough javanese she is, especially when her home design alone are not purely joglo design but also an influence of modern bali villa style, and isn't she have never been in java? Pardon me but you sound unrespectful to javanese which they're mostly are living in a village not city so how can she be more javanese LOL.

Joglo house, my javanese pride 😂 I've watched that crazy rich house episode, but for me Farah is the richest person in this world. My jaw droped to the floor for a whole video. Look at those carved doors and windows, wood panels, tiles, furnitures, even a whole structure... Damn. This house is filled only rare and very expensive woods. I think the wood itself worths millions dollar. Thank you for showing us this stunning masterpiece💕

@@OotYazdanmaybe the point is that even though this house is not even located in Java but it has that certain ornaments and parts that usually only seen in Java
Thank you for presenting the Joglo, it is magnificent craftsmanship. This is such a special video, of a house that migrated with its owner and still taking care of the family that loves it ❤🏡

@@designseedstudio Thank You.. Enjoyed.
I admire how she balances vintage with modern, and simple with intricate. Her home is exactly my style. I’m building a house for my retiring parents. This is the best inspiration so far! They love light filled open spaces and keep a soft spot for the traditional wood carvings in Southeast Asia. Thanks for sharing!
as javanese i need to tell this: joglo stand for anjog loro means 2 roofs. the front and the back the front part called "balai" can be built with "pendopo" style which the video refer as joglo, "limasan" style or even ordinary gable roof, the distinctive characteristic is it dont have wall or only half wall. this part of the home is for public part, serve the function as living room, party hall and other other activities. the second parts in the back is for privacy part or the home it self. the distinctive characteristic has huge two way doors, containing elder bad room after the door, bedrooms, the closet wich i forgot the javanese word of it, dining room and kitchen and other desired room. the bathroom and toilet is outsite the house, built separately like a shed. so joglo didn't refering to that roof shape styled building but the complete house layout
Thank you, Farah, for preserving Javanese architecture in the neighboring country. I am an Indonesian Javanese and hope that your hard work inspires many Indonesians to do the same and to take pride in the local architecture. As far as I know, Yogyakarta and Surakarta/Solo are 2 Javanese cities famous for preserving Javanese joglo style (Pasar Gede in Solo and Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta). This ancient heritage should be celebrated and preserved well despite the nationality.

yea, my house is still joglo that are like 100 years old, but you could buy a normal house with just the price of the teak woods used, the very old teak wood that are hundreds of years old.
One of the most beautiful houses in the world!
What an amazing house ! So much art and history to be appreciated. I appreciate the massive effort gone to preserve ancient heritage. Hats off to the owners. Very well presented.
I admire modern houses but i adore traditional Houses. The character blows my mind and I love the fact that it's like you're living in a museum and your house is literally a piece of ART!❤
Love the timelessness of Joglo and Limasan House. You could time travel to year 2500 and still find both of them captivating ♥♥❤
This has got to be the most beautiful, richest house in Malaysia ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and its in the city I work in for the last 13 years 😂
No words to describe this work. Truly masterpiece.
Allah is the best planner! This is where I first met my husband.. This house and sister Farah are always close to our hearts ❤❤❤

Javanese house. Awesome Indonesian heritage.
As an Indonesian and born Javanese, I personally thank to you for your love, appreciation, and respect to Javanese and Balinese cultures as well. Your house is such a beautiful mixture of Javanese and Balinese art for sure. I wish you a very enjoyable life! Please dont forget Indonesia. I believe Indonesia has became part of your life now. Love, from Indonesia❤️🤍🇲🇨
A beautiful palace this lady with impeccable taste has built. A home of these proportions needs to filled with a very big family. Credit to her
Craftspeople and carpenters are NOT simple people. They are rare specialists who know the history, materials, and purpose of the beautiful objects they are creating and restoring and do not deserve any social contempt.
I always love how the team curate, edit, and publish the topic it's like if once you watch Design Seed, the other similar accounts don't look the same anymore

Thank you so much ✨ We’re glad that you enjoyed this episode 🙌🏻
This is not a house this is an art...so beautyfull and peacefull, the vibes like a peacefull village from 70s to 80s era in Indonesia
I v been here and it was truly Magical. It was Paradise on Earth. A sight to Behold
I am very proud as a Javanese to look at the beauty of that house, very alive at one with nature.😊
The hand carved Gebyok partition & Soko Guru (the 4 pilars) with 5-9 carved Tumpuk Soko on top are the most important parts inside Javanese Joglo & Limasan....would be complete if decorated with Wuwungan (the crown piece) on top exterior of Joglo & Limasan .....and mostly decorated with beautiful Chandelier on the center
Wow I got goosebump thinking about the amount of efforts put into this, I guess the original house, shape and layout carries along lots of memories in the family. What a feat and architecture, but why not, cause we only live once! :)
One of the most serene houses I’ve ever seen
This is wonderful, connecting back to Indonesia. Wonderful people. Great channel. Thank you ❤ Farah Kimball😊
The moment Alex said it is a house that was build 14 years ago, tears rolled down my cheeks. I've watched so many videos of Design Seeds and this is the first time I cried! When Farah opened the door at 17.33, looked like she was opening the door to paradise. My favourite is the riverstone bath tub! 😍i wish i could visit the house one day, especially for the 99 doors!
create the modern living by combining the traditional house with tropical garden.
As a Javanese I love this
my biggest concern is how she prevent the termites from feeding the house and also dealing with mosquitos
It's disheartening that foreigners often have a better understanding of our Javanese culture, highlighting the inadequacy of our historical education. Thanks for the video :)
An incredible undertaking by Farah and her team. Undaunted by the many challenges: taking a joglo apart piece by piece, transporting and reassembled with respect to tradition and climate. Bravo!
I super love this beautiful house! ♥️♥️♥️
I am a true blue Javanese from both parents who emigrated to Singapore from Solo and Kebun-Agung, Pachitan. Matur Nyuwun/kesuwon/thank you for walking us through your Javanese house. 🙏

Wonderful presentation Alex. This is an outstanding house, i truely appreciate intricate wood work that is a part of the culture of the ppl. The owner too, she truely has immersed herself into the surroundings. What some may overlook, she appreciated in the old pieces and made it a part of her home.....well done!
wowww....this is a house where nature and humans understand each other. Some may define the house as wastage or destroying trees. But life is all about balance, arriving at the point where each purpose is understood and realised. There is so much appreciation of nature in this home. It's like an art museum - peaceful, magical, spiritual
Omg this is my dream house, this is the real sustainability! She speaks so eloquently, great editing btw! Many of Javanese & Balinese touch & philosophies here, make it more interesting
this is hands down the most beautiful house i've seen. thank you for showing this amazing home
This house looks stunning! Farah and her consulting designer really hit the homerun with this one.
I love the house. Bringing the outside in and the reusing of wood. The carved wood adds so much character to the space. The privacy the trees offer. The wooden door outside. The greenery in the bathroom. ❤❤❤
WOW WOW WOW BEAUTIFUL KOMBINASI ARSITEKTUR JOGLO, LIMASAN JAWA AND BALI THE BEST GOD BLESS YOU 🤝👍👍👍👍🏡🏕⛰🏞🏖🌲🌳🍀☘🌿🌾🌵🌴🌱⚘🌷🥀🌹🏵💮🌸💐🌼🌻🌺😍😍😗😗💖💖🇮🇩🌏
I see this video twice and still amazing with this beautiful Javanese House....
This is truly an ART. Wonderful collective items in every possible places. I appreciate the owner's timeless dedication and thanks to the crew in making this hidden gem available to everyone...👍🏼
There is actually reason why the doors inside or to the house is small and people have to bow or bend a bit to get it. It is actually meant to be a good gesture to the house owner. So when we get in, we bow down/lower our head a bit to pay respect to the one living in the house, besides it was also a common practice between javanese and being seen as a good gesture towards the home owner. ❤
Just Stunning.....speechless.......
This shows how creativity could make traditional and modern design works together to make a living masterpiece.
really spectacular house with a beauty of its own that not only reflect the owner's character but also brings different vibe to the visitors
wow, that must be a lot of work to do, it pretty remarkable she able to rebuild it in other country. its easy to build from the scratch, but from this pieces part, just amazing.
Those antique woods cost you a fortune 😅😅😅...sometimes they made out of hundreds year old trees...and now they are not available anymore 😅😅😅

That is so true.
This is so so so beautiful.. i feel emotional with the vibe.. it's so green and relaxing the top floor really remind me of my traditional grandparent's house, it was all wood with ornament and the floor is made from white stone, no polish just let it natural and clean.. but now it's gone since they need to replace the woods allover the house but it gonna be way more expensive than brick wall so.. just be a memory. This house is showing she's really into peace you know.. amazing
inspiring, as a javanese i realy want to have a big house with nature side by side
I am into industrial and minimalist designs…you presented it well
Subhan Allah...so beautiful.... ❤️
