Unbelievable Hack: Instantly Fix Your Tankless Water Heater Without Any Error Codes!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

My Rinnai tankless water heater would sometime stopped producing hot water and it would not produce any error code. This video will cover the steps you can take to reset your water heater. Hopefully, one of this step will help fix your problem.
The common issue with this type of problem is that the water servo and sensor would not sense the water coming in. Either the sensor is about to give or there could be a clog that is preventing the turbine at the water entry to spin. If it is a clog, you simply need to clean it and you are good to go for a long time. If the problem is with the sensor intermittently stopping to recognize the heater, you will need to reset it and eventually you will need to replace it to fix the problem for good.
My issue begins with a clog but after 5 years, the problem is happening more often so I assume that I will need to replace the sensor really soon. I am looking around and the part that I need is out of stock. Hopefully, they will get this back in stock so I can replace it and share another video on how to replace the sensor.

You are a life saver sir. Turning the inlet valve off, letting it drain, and turning on quickly fixed mine.

From looking at your setup... it will work but its not the best.....i went to HD and bought a tankless valve kit for under 100.00 it comes with two separate valves for hot and two separate valves for cold. This is used for 1x annual flushings with white vinegar (4 gallons into a 5 gallon bucket and circulate with a 1/6 hp submersible pump)....be sure to take out the inlet filter before you start the cleaning. This is all in the manual that came with your tankless heater. If you have ventilation issues with your unit....such as a code 11 ... you might have to take apart your heater plate and internal heater unit to blow it clean with compressed air and vacuum internally ... then reinstall everything back.....all this can be googled on youtube as some have already have this process listed....i hope this helps your viewers.

The correct procedure here is to flush the heat exchanger, the reason youre getting loss of hot is due to mineral drop out from heating that coats the heat exchanger. You need 2 laundry hoses a bucket and a pump and vinnegar. In over 30 years service gasfitting and plumbing ive never had one that the electrical or aqua stat as the problem. Also that "turbine " is calld a flow sensor. This is not fixing, this is fumbling shown in this video.

Just curious. Do tankless cause more issues than tank? Seems like these things are pretty much broken computers compared to a tank.

I have 2 tankless heater. 1 never had a problem but this one that I showed need to be reset from time to time. By they way, I love your username. My now teenage son is a back to the future fan and I have given him a Delorean car from Playmobil when he was 12 and he still have it on his computer desk and still plays with it.

They require a flushing 2x a year. You can do this in under 30 min.. this video has absolutely zero usefull advice except cleaning the flow sensors inlet filter. If you're not getting hot water it's time to flush the unit. Ife been a red seal plumber 30 years

Hi! The exhaust airflow issue is with the 2 big pipes on top of the heater that vents the system and the blower inside the tank. Have you tried checking the pipes if there is any obstruction in it? Maybe dust or spider webs or nest? I remember this video I saw years ago so I tried to look it up for you. Hopefully this is your only issue. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nqGrq8mnYcive6g.html If this does not work then it may be time to call the professionals. Please update us if you can. I am interested to know the fix. Thanks.

Check your exhaust then, I once pulled a dead squirrel out of a navien exhaust with an auger, it could also be your internal condensate trap where it connects to the airswitch
