Hello Lex, I followed your instructions and by flipping the #6 DIP Switch, I was able to turn up the temperature on the remote controller (located in my garage) to 140F. The problem is, the water heater will not kick "on" with the DIP Switch #6 flipped. Interestingly, if I run the hot water, with the water heater off (when it should be on) and then flip the #6 DIP Switch back to its original position, the water heater instantly comes on. The remote controller unit again says 120F. I also tried using the manual which says to flip the #5 AND #6 DIP Switch to enable 140F but again, the water heater will not come on. If I flip them off while the hot water is running, the water then comes on again but the controller has returned to 120F again. At one point I got the water heater to light off with the temp set to 140F but it only ran for a minute or so, then turned off. It almost seemed as though it was sensing an "overtemp" or something. I returned the DIP Switches to their original positions again and for now, am using the water heater with the temp set to 120F. Any clue on why the DIP Switch flip you are recommending is not working?

Been dealing with these tankless heaters 4 years now. Makes no sense in an apartment. I have a 356 unit property and they run a duel heat system off of them so they break down due to the company not wanting to service them properly. Folks NEVER put these things in large properties.
