Unbelievable Grip: Tackling Insanely Tractioned Rock Crawling Trails! - S12E21
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The second part of the day was over to one of the hardest rock crawling trails we have around. The three 4 wheel steering buggies were going to test their traction on the massive rock climbs on this rock crawling trail. With the 5.3L LS S&N Chassis buggy of Dougs, the trans-axle buggy of Johns and the Ford Ranger buggy on Dana Super60s and 43" Interco SX sticky tires it was a great day in the backcountry.

Worth it!
Best traction day this year in there
Another great vid man, that trails so gooood!
'We'll just drive off a 5 meter boulder, quicker down that way'! Real good shot of that final slab descent from bottom-up, really captured the essence of the day. Particularly liked the 'right-is-wrong-ridge'; do not think they spun a tire all day. Pretty darn smooth!

Not as much throttle when the weather is like that, but it lets ya get greedy on the line choices because everything gets that much easier than on a slippery day!

Fuckin eh boyz !! Another epic adventure out Wheelin !!! Can't tell next Saturday morning Cartoons
Another great video. Wheeling in the woods looks awesome. So different than our California desert. 🍻
That decomposing granite's got crazy traction. Freeze/thaw cycles are why it's crumbly on the surface.

Its wild, and its only in that area, an hour south where I normally wheel and there isn't any sign of it at all!

@@PathmakerProductions It's got something to do with the clay content of the granite. My dad was interested in geology and we wheeled and hiked all over the Cascades looking at and collecting rocks.
Niceeeeee😂

The only good things on a ford are the front axles... they run ok but can't interchange shit on them like an ole chevy

Karls buggy is for sale, it is a home built chassis, running a 4L Ford Ranger engine/trans/tcase. Super60 axles front and rear (2005+ superduty axles, with the f450 knuckles for 50* of steering) ORI's, front and rear hydraulic steering, 43" Sticky SXs. Works good! (Thats the larger blueish buggy with the Backdoor Fab decal on the door) The red buggy is Doug's S&N Bravo Chassis
